Be intentionally incompetent. Every time you take over a task, you take the problem away before your team can solve it. Instead, pretend you don’t know how and let your people rise to it. *BigDealPod

J-Cal’s framework for how to be "AI first". It’s not just a slogan 1. Every task… Ask AI first. “How can I do this better.” 2. Every repeated task… Let your agents take care of it so you can do MORE. 3. Give the agent your last 10 outputs, let it score them, run it daily, and do deep-research weekly on what the best are doing differently.

Naval Ravikant on the importance of hiring high-agency people Naval defines agency as: “People who just solve problems without even being asked to solve the problem—they identify the problem, they go solve it, they don’t even necessarily have to update you every step of the way, they’re not asking silly questions, and they’re just coming up with solutions.” He believes this is important because “building a startup is an infinite set of problems that are being thrown at you.” And there comes a day where you can’t even look at every problem your company is facing—let alone solve every one of them. He cites the Vinod Khosla aphorism: "The team you build is the company you build, not the plan you make.” And your ability to solve problems is based entirely on how many problem-solvers you have at your company. As Naval puts it: “If you have somebody who takes 10% of your time and management to solve problems, you can only have 10 of those people working with you. But if somebody takes 5%, you can have 20 of those people.” When building Airchat and AngelList, he thought of each team as a Navy Seal team: “Everyone is just really good at what they do. They know their job. They do it. They don’t complain. They’re not egotistical about it. And if they have to constantly be corrected, led around by the nose, you have to clean up after them, or you question their judgement, it’s not going to work out.”

“Find what you love and let it kill you." I gave up my corporate career to let online writing kill me. Find the thing you want to kill you. Take the subject you’re crazy about & make it your entire life. Work on it after hours. Then have this wild task take over your career.

You can’t control people. You can’t make them do what’s right. Every time you let it upset you, you’re giving them your power. Don’t let it get on the inside. Tune into Joel’s message today, "How to Handle Troublemakers"!

It says in Psalms, “God knows your words before you speak them. He knows your thoughts before you think them.” You don’t have to hide things from God and pretend. You can be real. You can be vulnerable. You can trust Him. Be inspired by this message from Joel, "Winning Private Battles".

I don’t know how best to say this and not sound proud or arrogant but there are some people who used to be in your past life that should never make it to your present or future life. And you should not feel guilty about it! Before you misconstrue my point, please take note of the word “some”. I haven’t said you should cut off and turn your back on all your homies, friends and family members. But be smart about who, from your old life, you let into your new life! And stop having survivor’s guilt or remorse over that! I can’t explain it better but maybe A$ap and Snoop Dogg can.

People can destroy your image, damage your personality, create rumours about you but they can never take away your good deeds. Because no matter how they describe you, you will always be admired by those who know you best. #srchafreen #GIRLFREEN

“Young people, do not waste your youth. Don’t get too spoiled, being cared for is good when you have that privilege, but it should be limited and done at the right time. Take the time to be spoiled but also know when it is time to mature and be conscious that you don’t know what the future holds, and get ready to confront whatever challenges might come your way.” President Kagame | #YouthVolunteersMeetThePresident
