This dad and husband gave his house the best upgrade ever. 💯 He planted his very own flag pole so he could run Old Glory up to the top. 🇺🇸 It comes with a solar light at the top so he doesn’t have to take it down at night. That is a cool, telescoping flag pole. Guess I didn’t know they made flag poles like that. That’s an awesome looking. Leans a tad to the right but he’ll be okay. That’s the flag that came with the kit. He said he’s getting a bigger flag! Heck yeah! 👏 I’ve been wanting to install a flag pole. I’ll have to give this a look. Do you have a flag pole in your yard? Or, do you fly your flag off the little flag pole attachment that attaches to your house or fence? Did you know that the United States flag code states that if your flag doesn’t have a light on it and it isn’t illuminated that you are supposed to take it down every night? Now we know. 👌

A Confederate flag was projected on multiple screens inside the North Carolina pavilion at the Great American State Fair. People walked in and saw that image displayed alongside the state flag. A symbol of hatred and oppression has no place at a public event. We are glad it was removed but let us be clear. This was NOT a small oversight and it should never be treated as one.

After this man spent over $300 at his local store. When he was leaving the store they asked to see his receipt, he declined. So they detained him and called the police. The police came and took his cart away from him and was pushing it back to the store. After they were going to arrest him for not leaving, he finally, finally shows the receipt and they let him take his stuff he bought. Usually if they ask to see it and you refuse, it’s not a huge deal. But in this instance he had many high priced items not in bags, you can see just the boxes in the cart. Maybe put a sign at the door that you will be checked if items over a certain dollar amount isn’t in a bag, would that be reasonable?

The man takes the bag and takes a few steps and drops his food onto the floor. He claims they should have put each item in its own bag instead of bagging them together. He then takes both items that have touched the floor and puts it on the counter and wants them to remake it. They tell him the would only do so if he threw the items away, he refuses to throw it away himself and demands they give him his money back. Besides telling him to leave, should they have just thrown it away themselves and refunded him or did they refuse because he broke food safety guidelines by putting the dirty food on the counter?

Today is Australian National Flag Day. But in Parliament, I was ordered to take off our national flag. I moved a simple motion: let senators wear the Australian flag with pride, especially today. Labor and the Greens shut it down. They called it a "prop". They mocked it. And they made it clear: They don’t respect our flag. They don’t respect what it stands for. And they certainly don’t respect the Australians who do. The Australian flag isn’t a prop — it’s a symbol of who we are. It flies over our Parliament because it represents you. Your family. Your history. Your sacrifices. The Albanese Labor Government and their allies the Greens might be ashamed of it. But I never will be.
