Bears often wave when they want to be noticed.

A utility worker in Wilcox, Arizona, saw a brown bear stuck up a utility pole. He called the supervisor to notify him for assistance. Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Co-op sent Apprentice Lineman Gallego and Lineman Warner Newbauer to help. The bear’s life was at risk, with 7200 volts on the lines near its head. The worker cut the lines’ power and used their boom truck to help the bear.
