Being bigger or stronger than someone does NOT make you better than them.

What a jerk, I have respect for anyone in the gym just for showing up.

Little man syndrome to put down other men like this. Clearly lacking in other departments

I’ve been struggling to do half of what I did in the past due to a car accident and being forced out of the gym for months. I’m back in but my strength isn’t what it used to be. Point being.. you never know someone else’s story. Don’t judge people and especially don’t put others down to bring yourself up.

Everyone starts somewhere.

Trying to make yourself feel better at someone else’s expense is so low…

Instead of making fun of him, a real OG would have gave him tips.

It took my trainer a year to convince me to go a gym because I was petrified of incidents like this. I used to weigh 472 and while I’m still on my weight loss journey. People like this deter folks who need the gym the most from going.

I belong to a small, privately-owned gym and the owner would literally ban you for life for doing this.

No assist 50 lb plate isn’t even a flex, that’s why it’s so dumb. In college I was 170 lbs and could easily do 3-4 sets hanging extra 90.

How do you know what set this man was on. Anyone ever did drop sets and struggled with the bar by the end? Just saying……
