Absolutely building his creative thinking skills! There are too many helicopter parents in this world depriving their child of the ability to overcome even the simplest of problem solving & overcoming the slightest of life's challenges.

No. Observe and learn. You don’t learn until you HAVE to apply what you know. Critical thinking - Dad didn’t leave. He waited. But he allowed the child the chance to figure it out. Waiting can be so hard sometimes. Especially later in life.

What’s with this trend of forcing tiny kids to do stuff all alone and then acting like it’s a good idea? Teaching them that not even their loved ones will help is cruel not clever. You ppl are damaged.
