Toto driver, Sabir Mir, committed suicide on Facebook Live due to extortion by TMC leaders. Local TMC leaders had forced all Toto drivers to work entire day for party workers for just one hundred fifty rupees. When Sabir Mir could not go due to illness, he was abused, threatened and beaten the next day. The local TMC controlled union even ordered that he must not drive his Toto anymore. Sabir is also a TMC member. Mamata Banerjee Bengalis need protection from TMC.

In a disturbing escalation of political violence in West Bengal, the TMC launched a violent attack at the BJP District Party Office in Cooch Behar. The Assembly Elections are probably 11 months away but TMC have unleashed their attack dogs on the principal opposition party; BJP. This shows that they are losing ground and that's why they are resorting to violence so early. The Party Office is located in the Cooch Behar town and the incident unfolded in the presence of Mamata Police. TMC Goons along with Jihadists who are under the patronage of Mamata Police executed the attack. Several of our Karyakartas got injured badly. Recently, BJP MLA from Cooch Behar South Assembly Constituency; Shri Nikhil Ranjan Dey was attacked by TMC Goons while he was going towards Dinhata Court. Today's incident has reignited concerns over the deteriorating law-and-order situation in the district and all over the state as well.
