Been experimenting with more shaders! This one adds a grid-like scanline effect, kind of like the Nintendo DS or Game Boy Color screens. Also, I've been working on several new enemies lately! Wishlist: #screenshotsaturday

Not really a fan of shaders that distort the art. They look terrible and don't accurately emulate the aesthetic you're going for, meaning it's just wasted performance. Game looks and sounds lovely, though!

that scanline effect is doing a lot of work, instant nostalgia hit without turning into a full retro filter gimmick. the new enemies look like they'll actually force you to change your approach instead of just being reskins
