Been quietly building a browser based live audiovisual studio app for commercial use in Framer It listens to your music, analyses it in real time, then turns the frequency into visuals, type, glitches, motion, scene changes, FX, and more. It’s node based. Connect audio, MIDI, visuals and behaviours together... show more

What’s next? Now that most of the fun stuff works, I have to build all the other stuf that makes it an actual product 😂 User accounts. Project management. Cloud saves. Syncing. Presets. Sharing. Proper server side infrastructure. Probably several databases. Then the website, onboarding and documentation so someone other than me can actually understand it. After that: native desktop + iOS versions, better MIDI mapping, project sharing, reusable scenes/presets and eventually a little ecosystem around what people build with it. Basically: the audiovisual engine works. Now I need to turn my weird little experiment into a real piece of software. The dangerous bit.

@framer this is amazing, where do you even start to learn how to create this

@framer Thanks man!

@framer I built something like this but desktop app.. this is soo cool

@framer Thanks man!

@framer damnn that’s cool af! how you build it? framer code / agent?

Actually started as a small framer workshop experiment a year ago. I expanded the idea out around 6 months ago, with the idea of moving it more towards a proper front end product, then agents came along. So I now have 5 agents working on this via Codex into Framer. Keeping it light. Working locally, whilst storing locally and in the browser. I’m about to move some of that logic to Supabase as part of the whole user management.

@framer interesting! why 5 agents?

They let me investigate separate parts of the app in parallel without everyone changing the same code. - Experience agent checks the node graph and interaction flow - FX agent keeps the visuals and renderer honest - Media agent handles scenes, uploads, and playback - QA agent hunts performance bugs before they become pain - Integrator agent merges the useful features and fixes into one product

@framer ahhh interesting!! nice!

@framer daaaaaaamn that's crazzzzzzyy 🐐 @mrblackstudio ser

@framer 🫶

@framer all this in framer is quite impressive ngl

@framer 🫶

@framer This is seriously impressive. The way you’re connecting audio, MIDI, and visuals in real time is such a cool concept. Can’t wait to see the full thing. 🔥

@framer I can’t wait either. Thanks man!

@framer Man you’re a beast

@framer Haha. I’m a Mule. Started as a seedling of an idea more than a year ago.

@framer I have money for this

@framer

@framer No like actually Let's discuss :)

@framer DMs are open

@framer this is soooo cooool! 😯

@framer Thanks ☺️

@framer In framer ??? Damnnnnn

@framer Yep in framer 🫶

@framer This sounds insanely cool. Turning audio into a visual system like this could be huge for live performances and commercial work.

That’s the sector I’m interested in. As an electronic music artist, it was first built for my own use, and from there it seems to have a much wider use case, if done right. Nobody wants just a fractal or a shader. They want to have a tool that lets them express their art in a meaningful visual way that works with the frequency of their music.

@framer how do you even come up with these ideas lee, let me pick ur brain please! 🙏😭

@framer Haha pick away 🧠

@framer holy

@framer Moly 😅

@framer Wow that’s insane

@framer Thanks 🙏

@framer The man lives in the future

@framer Haha 😝

@framer Daaaaamn🔥

@framer Cheers man!

@framer I don’t understand how this runs on Framer. I’m mind blown 🤯

@framer Like this 😅

@framer Really pushing Framer to its limits

@framer Just a tiddly widdly bit 🤏

@framer Mindblown. Beyond amazing. Curious to try it out.

@framer Nice to hear. Are you using audio stuff daily? I’ll be looking for testers soon.

@framer I have tried finding ways to integrate audio before, but didn't quite get what I needed. This looks interesting. Would love to test it sometime.
