Since @loom doesn't allow downloading the recorded videos on a free plan anymore. Right now, it is a great opportunity to build a copy of loom with fewer features, where the download isn't hidden behind a paywall to get tons of users. Good luck!

@loom Thanks, yes, you can download videos for free (Screenity is actually free & open source except for the cloud component). I actually have the previous version available on the Chrome Store which I will update with this one soon :)

You can place them outside the region or crop them out after recording in the editing stage :)
