It is a policy in connection with all the accounts of the church. The church is one diocese, individual parishes with their organisations, and all charity institutions. Everyone clearly holds the accounts and submits to the concerned bodies properly. This is what is happening. The Modi government has brought in amendments to the FCRA Act which effectively allow the government to take control of assets created by NGOs and institutions using foreign donations, even if the foreign contribution was minimal, once their FCRA licence is cancelled or expires. This has triggered a huge uproar across the country. Naturally, one might assume that since FCRA applies to political parties as well, these rules would apply uniformly to all. We’re sorry to say, you’ve completely underestimated the Sangh Parivar. In 2018, through a small clause introduced as part of the Union Budget, an amendment was passed that allows political parties to receive unlimited foreign donations, including from foreign companies. Shockingly, this change was made retrospective all the way back to 1976. Why make it retrospective from 1976? That’s where things get interesting. There have been long-standing allegations regarding foreign funding of Sangh Parivar leaders. For instance, Morarji Desai was reported by Seymour M. Hersh, formerly of The New York Times, to have received $20,000 annually from the CIA in exchange for information, as mentioned in his writings. Now you can see how strategically these changes have been made, and it raises serious questions about the sources of political funding of the BJP. We also have to consider that the technology that is spreading all around the world is making this kind of influence extremely easy. Financial openness also allows for the transfer of funds through many channels that didn't exist in the past. Historically, there's really nothing new. My basic point is that NGOs are great; they do a lot of good work for humanity, but they are also an instrument of foreign policy. This is not a secret. In 1983, the National Endowment for Democracy was created in the United States and became the mother of all NGOs. ‼️🚨FCRA new amendments aren’t even passed, and look at the situation of pastors. Fights are breaking out in different churches in different parts of the country. 1) Pastors in Kerala church are infighting 2) Pastors in Andhra Pradesh church are infighting. All fights are for - who becomes the head pastor and thus controls the money. Situation will get worse once FCRA act with transparency rule is passed and kicked in. This is actually good news for India and Hindus. Their infighting will lead to Gharwapsis. As soon as their funds are dried up, they can’t convert more Hindus, is what their foreign masters don’t like and are vehemently objecting.
