Sigourney Weaver and Jack Champion were unable to act the kissing scene due to the significant real-life age difference The scene was handled carefully to comply with intimacy rules and ensure comfort. So both kiri and spider (the actors) had to kiss someone else while CGI/motion capture was used to complete the rest of the scene.

The Lord of the Rings didn't use CGI to create Isengard (Orthanc Tower). Instead, it used massive physical bigature models! Because Wētā didn't just design it… they built it. Orthanc wasn't CGI it was a 15-foot tall “bigature” (a giant miniature) made of carved polystyrene, resin, and hand-painted layers to look like black volcanic stone. The detail was insane, every spike, panel, and window was sculpted by hand.
