I continue to share my progress in my recovery after this massive stroke and the coma and pneumonia that kept me in the hospital for over three months in the beginning of the year I hope that by sharing my experience strength and hope, I can help others who’ve been through something similar. My childhood memories of Easter are of my Mother in an Easter hat, extra long Mass followed by egg hunts, purple cellophane wrapped woven baskets, lamb for supper, and a surprise pet rabbit. As I grew into a Young Man, I came to understand Easter as the most and only important day in our lives. Without the Resurrection, we are all damned — now we have a chance at Eternal life with God in Heaven. As a Man, I now realize how much I owe my parents for instilling their Faith in me, in part by making our holidays so fun and meaningful. Every year we hunt Easter Eggs! It's my absawoofly favorite holiday activity! This year Bernoulli and Beaker from Bunsen, Beaker, Bernoulli & Brix came out to try. Bernoulli did great but it was Beaker's time to shine. That girl is a natural and was hunting eggs like she'd done this all her life!
