I lived in the US for a year back in 2003. Matrix Reloaded came out in May, and the hype around it was seriously insane, beyond imagination. In the movie, the main characters are using this super cool phone, and then in a close-up shot, I spotted the 'Samsung' logo right there on it. It felt absolutely mind-blowing and magical. I came back to Korea full of hope that this thing would actually go on sale worldwide. But later I found out it was only released in the US as a super limited edition of just 5,000 units (or so I heard back then). I went from 92 to 98 miles an hour by adjusting my drop. When I used to think about the drop phase in my delivery, I thought I needed to drop as hard as I could into my back leg. So that’s what I did. I dropped in, got into a squat position, and powered myself out of it. That got me to the low to mid nineties. What got me to 96, 97, and 98 was learning to create linear momentum during the drop. I started moving down the mound instead of just dropping straight down. A few weeks back he let me know that he was planning an LA trip and wanted a tickling experience. I actually pretty much blacked out by that point and hardly remember that latter part, but the cameras kept rolling and captured the moment.
