When you really think about it, Bear played a major role in Sarah's death. He only called Sarah to get back at Nikki after she admitted she had never truly been with him, which was the truth. Moments before the attack, Bear saw Nikki rapidly approaching and still kept talking about wanting someone "more chill" like Sarah. When Nikki attacked, instead of stepping in or even trying to help, Bear simply closed his eyes and stood there, choosing cowardice over action.

I may be reaching a bit here, but I believe there were several subtle hints at the beginning of the movie that suggested that the real Nikki might have been attracted to Bear, despite Sarah’s claim that she has been having secret affairs with Ian. 1. Nikki calls Bear and encourages him to join her and the rest of the friend group for trivia night 2. When they were talking at the bar, there was playful banter, and the chemistry was there 3. Nikki paid for Bear’s piña colada 4. Even when Bear was shy and hesitant to tell Nikki that she bought her a gift from the crystal store, she was still willing to listen to what he had to say 5. Nikki told Bear that he is the only person that will listen whenever she needs someone to talk to 6. Nikki said that when she has a crush on a guy, no one knows 7. Nikki wanted Bear to confess his romantic attraction to her, but got frustrated when he chickened out and just said that they’re “good friends” What do you guys think? Do you agree or disagree? Let me know in the comments below. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ #Obsession #ObsessionMovie

Sugar Bear was the hippest of all the cereal spokesmen. Apparently he took it pretty badly when they changed his name to, Honey Bear, and he ended up committing suicide. Emasculated. Sugar Crisp Cereal Commercial (1965)

Seeing Bear and Nikki mutually in love for approximately 20 seconds was so soul warming to me, i just realized that in this scene, Nikki wished for Bear to love her the way she loved him😭😭#Obsession

There’s a lot of dark theory wrapped around this scene in Obsession. Why was Nikki walking backwards ?? What if the Real Nikki was a freak too? Can we all agree that the Real Nikki and freaky Nikki had a lot in common, that was why they could exist together?? Was Bear actually the victim or the villain?

Inde Navarrette reveals Nikki may stop existing when Bear isn’t watching her in Obsession Host: “Was there anything that you specifically came up with on the spot that stuck?” Inde: “There was a scene where I felt like we played with this idea of, if a tree falls in the forest, do you hear it? If Bear is not there to perceive her, does she exist?” “And I really wanted to add that layer to it of, does she shut off? Is she still there?” “There is a scene that I did have input on where I just completely made her face plain, and I felt like it effectively communicated to the audience where the real Nikki was and also what was happening in that moment” “I only got the audience with real Nikki a few times, and so I never wanted them to lose where she was”
