Flood stories existed over 1,000 years before the Bible was written down. The oldest detailed flood narrative comes from Mesopotamia. Epic of Gilgamesh, written 1200 BCE (standard version). Older versions as early as 2000 BCE And even earlier. Atrahasis Epic was written 1800 BCE.

There is no “before the Bible”. Commandments were given in the Garden. The sumerian story is written from the POV of the fallen demigods sons.

If I'm correct, I think this is the story of the Epic of Gilgamesh which is where the Biblical story of Noah and the Great Flood comes from, Noah story is literally a copy of the Epic of Gilgamesh although it's believe that Noah story might came from a older Mesopotamian story.
