A 1975 Mesa Boogie Mark I guitar amplifier with a stained wood enclosure and basketweave grille, owned and stage-played by Jerry Garcia, co-founder and lead guitarist of the Grateful Dead. Part of Jerry’s live rig from 1975–1976, the amp also appeared in a Mesa Boogie print ad alongside Jerry and Bobby, a copy of which is included here. This issue fans keep seeing the MonsterVerse run into with WinGoji VS Gare/DougheGoji is that 2014 establishes Godzilla as neutral, but KOTM expands upon this by revealing him to be as heroic as he was in the 1960s/70s films. The comics and novelizations around the time double down on this, & from 2014 until 2021, Godzilla was seen as primarily a HERO. But, in GVK, they emphasize that Godzilla will, almost at random (like in Hong Kong), go heel & destroy things, kill people that he could have avoided, & attack innocent heroic or neutral monsters for his own personal gain. Is it more like his Toho portrayal? Sure. But it abandons the progress and expansion of the character made in King of the Monsters. Oh, hey, I made a video all about this. You should watch it:

This is a heartbreaking 💔 story, this gentlemen contacted us, to get help. He got the Car from GoBid and when he tried to register it, there were some issues on the NATIS system but eventually got registered. He found out that it was also owned by someone else. Meaning it was a CLONE 😢 So they made arrangements to meet with the guy who already owned this car on paper, the guy came to him with an identical car and same number plate etc. The difference was that the VIN on our Clients car was tampered with but not the other Car. So he sent us the Disc and we ran History Checks out (HPI/LifeCycle & Movement) for him and indeed it was a CLONE that he had. Our Client made GoBid aware and they took the car from him and few months passed and GoBid refused to pay him back his money, they said they are investigating, what we picked up in less than 24 hours they were taking months to investigate. Nevertheless GoBid eventually agreed on paying him all the money back which they agreed on, but guess what when they paid they did not pay all, they deducted for a few things, licensing, roadworthy etc. Guys be careful when buying cars at Auctions, they are NOT Clone-Proof !! He says he wishes he booked us to check the car at the Auction before he could bid and now regrets it. You do not need to live with regret book us to go and View4You at the Auction. At the turn of the century, Sicily was home to an eccentric Italian count named Vincenzo Florio, a man who loved nothing more than racing through these mountains. He put on the entire spectacle himself, shipping cars in from Naples, entertaining guests lavishly, and even allowing his own chauffeur to compete. For the winner, there was a beautiful gold cup crafted in Paris, and ever since, the race has carried his name. Decades later, the Targa Florio became a proving ground for some of the greatest machines ever built, with cars like the Porsche 908 and 910, Alfa Romeo Tipo 33, Ferrari 312P, and later the brutal Porsche 917 carving through Sicilian villages and mountain roads in the 1960s and 1970s, cementing the event as pure motorsport mythology.

THE KING AND I… This rough VHS clip is from 1996 when I was struggling in the crowd to record King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (Kwam 1) at the Nigerian Corner at the Notting Hill Carnival in London. Never in my wildest dreams did I think just 3 years later I would become his manager, and my journey in music would begin. For those of you that have been asking me for that K1 documentary, now you will have it! This is my story with the King of Fuji music during the 5 years I spent with him. At home with family, in the studios for 5 albums, backstage and on-stage all over the world, on the planes, in the cars, from Lagos to London, across Europe to Canada and our world tours, including the famous American tour of 2002, I recorded all the way. From our good times, recording the album New Lagos for Bola Tinubu, the near death on a flight from Toronto, and also when I was stabbed in the head that I still carry the scars till today… EVERYTHING, and some surprises. If Netflix doesn’t value proper African music documentaries and original stories, we will take our content to other platforms. Watch this space for more details next month July when I make a big announcement. I am the original “content creator” 😎

Long before King Sunny Adé took Juju to the world stage, a young man named Abdulrafiu Babatunde King was making history in the streets of Olowogbowo, Lagos. Picture this: A motor mechanic workshop in the 1920s. "Area boys" gathered after work, drinking palm wine and making music. Among them was Tunde King, born in 1910, strumming his guitar-banjo and creating something completely new. He took the Palm Wine music of his time—a blend of Yoruba folk, Brazilian, and Cuban sounds—and transformed it into something distinctly Yoruba that would define Nigerian music for generations. The story of how "Juju" got its name is pure Lagos street culture. King bought a tambourine from a Salvation Army store and gave it to his drummer. The guy started throwing it in the air and catching it during performances. The crowd loved it, shouting "Jù-jú!" (Yoruba for "throw"). The name stuck. In 1936, Tunde King made the first Juju recordings with Parlophone/EMI, releasing over 30 records on 78rpm shellac discs. Hits like "Oba Oyinbo" and "Dunia" became classics, with lyrics carrying sharp social commentary about colonial Lagos. The lineage is clear: Tunde King influenced Ayinde Bakare and Tunde Nightingale in the 1940s, who in turn influenced King Sunny Adé and Ebenezer Obey in the 1960s. Every Juju legend traces back to that mechanic shop in the 1920s. Tunde King died in the 1980s, but every time you hear Juju music, you're hearing his innovation.
