DC says Tom Aspinall can’t really go to any other MMA Promotion and make as much money as the he does with the UFC “MMA is not a sport where you can really go anywhere else. For some of us alcohol is an escape from uncomfortable feelings that we have about ourselves, or an escape from just feeling uncomfortable in the presence of others. The true work in sobriety is about being comfortable as yourself. When you start to genuinely like and accept who you are, you no longer want escape yourself or create someone new to serve others. Anyone that’s on this journey , I just want to reassure you that if you put the work in, really start to better yourself, really start to understand what it is you feel uncomfortable about yourself , as your self-esteem and self-respect grows so will your ability to truly be yourself and not care who likes the true version of you, because you like yourself and that will be enough.
