"My daughter was 17 years old. She was picked for a school trip from July 9 to July 22, and it was mandatory that she be vaccinated. She was the only one vaccinated in our household, although we begged her not to do it. She received vaccinations on June 7 and June 28, 2022. She left for her trip on July 9 and fell sick on July 18. She texted me that she was sick. We drove from Michigan to New York to pick her up at the border of Niagara Falls in Toronto. We drove home on July 19, which was my three-year-old's birthday. We celebrated with cake and ice cream. Auburn and I had soup, then she went to bed. On July 20, I took her to urgent care, where we sat in the waiting room for four hours. She then sat up and asked, 'Did they call me back yet?' before collapsing and going into cardiac arrest. They worked on her, airlifted her to Children’s Hospital, where she was put on the ECMO machine and treated with Remdesivir. She was in jeopardy of having all her limbs amputated due to lack of blood flow, so her limbs turned black. We couldn't amputate due to the blood thinners,. We had to shut down the machine on August 6, my daughter passed away." She spent 17 days suffering. What happened her? Why didn’t the vaccine help boost her already perfect immune system? Google announced in May that tokens had grown 50x y/y, and doubled again by July 2025 (100x) to 1 quadrillion monthly tokens. In that period - algorithmic and hardware advances improved efficiencies by ~10-15x - which means Google had to increase accelerated compute dedicated to token generation by 3-10x. Our estimate is that Google increased accelerated compute by ~3x during the period - which means that they had to pull compute from training, recommenders, etc to allocate to token generation. Significant algorithmic advancements (Flash Attention, quantization, MoE), and infrastructure investments (prompt caching, batching) have driven much of that efficiency, but counting on the hardware to get better is something the industry is counting / relying on. We used to be able to ride Moore's Law / Dennard scaling to improve compute per watt. But now... we have to rely on $NVDA / hardware ecosystem (Google, $AMD, etc) to drive 2-4x improvement per generation (Huang's Law). People underestimate the strain of exponentials on human systems - that are hard coded to think linearly... The total global accelerated compute base is probably ~8 GW of installed capacity on my math and analysts have estimated growth to increase to 10x to ~80 GW globally by 2030. Even assuming all of that capex gets done, and Nvidia continues to push yearly roadmap (generating 2x y/y performance uplift), the 10x power increase should equate to ~50x increase in compute. We just had 100x AI usage increase in 1 year from Google's testimony. OpenAI, Google, Anthropic are in structural shortage of compute - each bit they bring online is fully invested in serving their users. And that is without even expanding into true video / world models, robotics, or long horizon thinking to find novel breakthroughs. What could change this trajectory? If the algorithmic efficiencies we are gaining from new breakthroughs outstrip the exponential increase in current demand -- and FUTURE demand. Investors hyperventilated at DeepSeek's release earlier this year, but their gains were outweighed by the increase in demand created by reasoning.

My experience as a Defenders fan going to STL America's Center & The Dome for an away game. This was a solo trip, did not bring my family on this one. The St. Louis Battlehawks home games truly are one of the special environments for United Football League. I’ve been to 4 AWAY games for DC Defenders over the last 12 months and the environment for this one was fired up! They definitely should NOT move STL to a soccer stadium if they keep showing out like they did yesterday. I got to my hotel at 1AM on game day after a late flight from the west coast. I woke up 6 hours later, walked towards the stadium and randomly caught the STL player walk-ins. Then, I walked over to the tailgate and met up with The Bottom Line and enjoyed some mimosas and breakfast burritos with Ed Ploeger and his gang. Thanks for the hospitality! I was able to get him a signed Sam Kidd jersey as a thanks for all he does for the UFL community! After the tailgate, got in for gate drop at 0930, and went straight down to the field. I was able to say hi to a few players and talk with Steven McCrane as his son was nailing 50+ yard field goals with ease. Chatted up and made peace with a few STL fans around me. Once the game started, they had the place LOUD, and my watch kept alerting me that my hearing was getting damaged 🤣 . Being there for the first ever 4 point field goal by Matt McCrane made the travel worth it. After the home fans had a few rounds of beers, the heckling began (which was expected), but I had to pop about 6 beach balls/🎈 as I became the 🎯 for drunk fans as the only DC fan in the section. I tossed the balls back a few times until I immediately got hit with about 3 balls in a row. So that part was a bit of a let down, as I was just trying to enjoy a game. The halftime show was great. Overall, the game experience itself left something to be desired with the penalties and getting harassed by fans who were clearly recording trying to get rage bait engagement on 🎥. Probably won’t be going back to a STL game again, but I’m glad got to check it out! Pregame/Tailgate: 5/5 Halftime: 5/5 Game experience: 3/5 Getting to/from stadium: 5/5

My experience as a Defenders fan going to STL America's Center & The Dome for an away game. This was a solo trip, did not bring my family on this one. The St. Louis Battlehawks home games truly are one of the special environments for United Football League. I’ve been to 4 AWAY games for DC Defenders over the last 12 months and the environment for this one was fired up! They definitely should NOT move STL to a soccer stadium if they keep showing out like they did yesterday. I got to my hotel at 1AM on game day after a late flight from the west coast. I woke up 6 hours later, walked towards the stadium and randomly caught the STL player walk-ins. Then, I walked over to the tailgate and met up with The Bottom Line and enjoyed some mimosas and breakfast burritos with Ed Ploeger and his gang. Thanks for the hospitality! I was able to get him a signed Sam Kidd jersey as a thanks for all he does for the UFL community! After the tailgate, got in for gate drop at 0930, and went straight down to the field. I was able to say hi to a few players and talk with Steven McCrane as his son was nailing 50+ yard field goals with ease. Chatted up and made peace with a few STL fans around me. Once the game started, they had the place LOUD, and my watch kept alerting me that my hearing was getting damaged 🤣 . Being there for the first ever 4 point field goal by Matt McCrane made the travel worth it. After the home fans had a few rounds of beers, the heckling began (which was expected), but I had to pop about 6 beach balls/🎈 as I became the 🎯 for drunk fans as the only DC fan in the section. I tossed the balls back a few times until I immediately got hit with about 3 balls in a row. So that part was a bit of a let down, as I was just trying to enjoy a game. The halftime show was great. Overall, the game experience itself left something to be desired with the penalties and getting harassed by fans who were clearly recording trying to get rage bait engagement on 🎥. Probably won’t be going back to a STL game again, but I’m glad got to check it out! Pregame/Tailgate: 5/5 Halftime: 5/5 Game experience: 3/5 Getting to/from stadium: 5/5

There are 362 NCAA Division I head men’s basketball coaching positions in the country. I don’t take for granted how fortunate I am to be offered the opportunity to lead one of these programs, specifically, Houston Christian University (HCU). First, I want to thank the Lord for this opportunity. I want to thank HCU President Dr. Sloan, Director of Athletics Steve Moniaci, Deputy Athletic Director Stan Williamson, and James and Ann Bryant. All five of you have played a vital role in allowing my family the opportunity to move to Houston to join your prestigious institution. Thanks for your belief in me and our vision to reimagine and reinvigorate the men’s basketball program. I would like to thank and honor Coach Ron Cottrell and his coaching staffs who spent the last 33 years leading the HCU basketball program. This includes long-time assistants Steven Key and Jud Kinne as well as many other assistants. Ron and his staff dominated the NAIA and Red River Conference days of the 90’s and early 2000’s. They fearlessly led the program back to the NCAA Division I level, through the probationary period, to the Great West Conference, and to the Southland Conference. It is a privilege to follow Coach Cottrell and build on his body of work. I am grateful for the previous colleges and universities who afforded me the opportunity to lead their programs. Rock Valley College, Graceland University, and most recently and for the last six years, Emporia State University. I will be posting an in-depth message thanking some specific people who changed my life from Emporia State in the coming days. TL;DR: I will be having awake brain surgery 4th of July - It's extremely likely to be a benign tumour - Biopsy to confirm (taken during surgery) - Apart from the surgery shouldn't be too serious to worry about. Story/Thoughts: In April I had 2 seizures within a week, both while I was asleep. The 1st one happened at around 3am, as for memory I just remember being in the ambulance for a few seconds which felt like a dream to then being awake in the ICU. Their diagnosis was "Allergic reaction" as it appeared I couldn't breathe initially. The 2nd was a week later at around 11am I would wake up then go back to sleep etc. but then I woke up with 4 paramedics looking over me saying they had to take me to the hospital (which was nearby) I was staying at my girlfriend's place during this, who was the one that ended up initially seeing and getting help from others. They decided to then do a CT scan that found a mass in my brain which prompted the MRI that is in the video. They also put me on anti-seizure medication that luckily has meant I haven't had one since. The brain tumour appears to non aggressive and likely been there/growing slowly for quite a long time but due to recent events it made the follow ups by my surgeon/doctor to recommend doing surgery to remove as much as possible and run a biopsy. The biopsy will decide what future course of action is best. (I'm from UK so NHS diff. Don't have to pay anything) As for my thoughts, the most impactful one has been seeing the impact on those around me. Especially my girlfriend, who had to see everything unfold twice. With days following would wake up during the night to see if I was still alive to any slight difference in noise I made. For me being unconscious through them moments its unimaginable the emotions and feelings she experienced. I'd do anything to carry the burden alone instead for her seeing a seizure happen to someone you care greatly about. For me, it's been surreal but manageable. In the past I've been very dissociative of myself and the world around. This has helped with the anxiousness of the diagnosis where I'm only affected by the impact I have on others. However it has shown me another perspective which I greatly would like to be better and more personal towards myself and to reflect that. Another thing relating to the above was that during (2017 - Early 2018) before I started production I had 0 direction feeling completely lost. I thought my life was over where I preyed for the end credits to roll as I'd naively thought I'd experience all to experience in life. However, I then found the one thing I was best at which is my production work. My talent was being able to show off other peoples great talent. There's so many amazing stories that exist untold and only realised through the means of production. It was something to live for and every production felt as if it were a reflection of what my entire life was. It's truly made me a much better person with those I've met and the experiences from it all. There are times I get overwhelmed with anger and pain as I still see the state of many shows I'd like to be involved in suffer from a complete lack of vision and execution from incompetence or poor management. To the extent that I feel so passionate about what I do that I'd gladly spend the last day I had on earth directing a live broadcast while dying for my last breath to call end of show. I feel many people who make up these stories such as the players, dedicate their life and have made sacrifices to be there that don't get reflected in the broadcasts that highlight them. Though with such extremities I then come down to reality where each day is different and new. I find moments of bliss with spending time with people I care about and I want to live to see such opportunities and memories ahead created thanks to the time I've spent with my girlfriend and my work that got me to the person that I want to be. There's so many amazing stories that exist untold and only realised through the means of production. It was something to live for and every production felt as if it were a reflection of what my entire life was. It's truly made me a much better person with those I've met and the experiences from it all. There are times I get overwhelmed with anger and pain as I still see the state of many shows I'd like to be involved in suffer from a complete lack of vision and execution from incompetence or poor management. To the extent that I feel so passionate about what I do that I'd gladly spend the last day I had on earth directing a live broadcast while dying for my last breath to call end of show. I feel many people who make up these stories such as the players, dedicate their life and have made sacrifices to be there that don't get reflected in the broadcasts that highlight them. Though with such extremities I then come down to reality where each day is different and new. I find moments of bliss with spending time with people I care about and I want to live to see such opportunities and memories ahead created thanks to the time I've spent with my girlfriend and my work that got me to the person that I want to be. It's been a long memorable journey, but also the craziest nightmare. My pleasure to meet, talk and spend hell lot of time with hundreds of people in this community, which is one of the best communities you can ever find in the crypto world.
