At the Daytona 500 in February of 2001 Dale Earnhardt Sr. hit the wall at the end and tragically lost his life. In July NASCAR returned for the first time. It was the first BIG race I went to. I had been to the pocono infield many times but this was Daytona. I was a Jimmy Spencer fan at that point but what I saw that night left me speechless and teary eyed. I watched a man take the victory at a track that took his dad's life. Every one in that place was a junior fan that night. It is absolutely one of my most fond memories.

My family in the 90’s all worked together to put gas and tires on the race cars. Eat, drink, sleep, repeat, race cars is what we did. Much respect to Craig @starnurserylv for letting me drive his car. In my mind, it was this race that the @nascar team owners recognized my name.

Here's the incident between Chase Briscoe and Riley Herbst in the closing laps from Herbst's onboard. Briscoe actually took a pretty decent shot into the wall Herbst's crew had their driver come to pit road so as to not risk bringing out a caution while the 45 was out front. "We do not want the yellow thrown. Get it down." 35 crew put tires on it and Herbst rolled down pit road to cross the finish line

I loved curling with my friends. Such a unique thing to be a part of and I encourage all of you to mix it up every once in a while. Do something different. I never laughed so hard in my life.
