Disagree. The issue is not the psy op propaganda dichotomy of welfare or arms spending. It is whether we wake up to the fact that this system is no longer fit for purpose. The UK spends £224 million every day on interest payments on its national debt. That is the interest and NOT the principal. This cannot continue ad infinitum. The UK has to borrow each year just to pay that interest. The issue is NOT welfare. The real issue is continual incompetent governments that are wedded to ideology with the great majority having never worked outside of the government bubble. Welfare payments, despite what you may have heard, are painfully low. Yes we should work diligently to get some off the carousel of welfare but for totally different reasons to what is being spouted by the hypocritical media. Wouldn’t it be great if we could target usury which benefits the money lenders but destroys the long term feasibility of those nations which are under this tyranny?
