Ben Affleck’s work as Christian Wolff throughout both the first and second Accountant has turned into some of Affleck’s best work. Sort of like Denzel’s work as The Equalizer, I think Affleck just genuinely enjoys playing this role, which leads to one of his better performances.

Matt Damon produced Manchester by the Sea & originally planned to star in the film. A scheduling conflict with The Martian forced Damon out of the role & Affleck in- which lead to Casey’s Best Actor win at the Oscars. This has slowly turned into one of the better “what ifs” in recent Hollywood memory. Had Damon taken on this part, I like to think he could’ve contended for Best Actor as well.

I was surprised when I heard Criterion was doing Armageddon, 'cause I didn't think of it as that kind of movie when we did it. Um, and in retrospect now, I feel like maybe my best work in my career is the commentary on this disc. But I won't spoil it for those of you who are interested. It... it... it is a... it is an... as an achievement that I'm proud of and didn't intend to be as good as I now think it is at the time. Denzel Washington’s Oscar-nominated performance in Flight has to be at the top of the list when ranking Denzel’s best work. Had he not run into Daniel Day-Lewis for Lincoln, Denzel would’ve undeniably won a second Oscar for Best Actor. Denzel is unhinged here- he’s just totally off the rails & his performance has so much range. This guy is just totally unpredictable as an actor & I cannot get enough. I love Flight.

'No Self Control', released in May 1980 was the second single from 'PG3'. This performance is from Top of the Pops. "Steve Reich had done this wonderful record called ‘Music for Eighteen Musicians’, which involved marimbas and I think, of all the ‘systems’ composers, his work had a lot of textures and colours and grooves to them that I really responded to. So I tried to involve elements of that in the work. I also worked with a wonderful percussionist Morris Pert and ‘No Self Control’ would be one track, which integrated some of those things and a band sound as well."
