During an inspection of Sarjapur Road, Dommasandra, Gunjur, Varthur & Balagere, he sought clarity on land acquisition, drainage, road widening and encroachments. Expressing dissatisfaction with condition of Dommasandra-Varthur road, Gowda questioned officials over encroachments & traffic congestion and directed them to clear debris & lay gravel on available stretches immediately. He asked officials to use available land for immediate road improvements instead of waiting for lengthy land acquisition processes. Gowda also directed BESCOM to relocate obstructing transformers and poles, speed up water pipeline works, clear construction debris & repair damaged footpaths and roads. He asked KRDCL, Metro, BESCOM & BWSSB to coordinate road and infrastructure works to avoid repeated road damage.
