On the other side you have the "HR Policy Association"

him winning the UAW presidency by such a narrow margin has made such an impact already, and it has just begun. Shawn Fain is goated

I mean this evens polls well with Republicans and Independents, it is ridiculous how much legislation with massive support never gets passed, or even voted on.

Corporations demand undying fealty from labor which is ALWAYS unrequited because they have this dogmatic belief in the fungibility of said labor. They have profound antipathy for those they exploit to the hilt! It’s parasitic. But it’s ALWAYS framed the other way around!

My father worked at a box factory for almost 30 years. His knees and back were shot way before age 50. Sadly, he never made it to retirement due to cancer. He told me once that people that say to others "no pain no gain" is a joke that the pain will be your future in retirement.

Only #UBI will give everyone their time & life back. UBI is the only policy that gives ordinary people the same freedom as the rich.

Love Shawn fain

@RBReich In Europe they take August off. They don’t work once they’re done for the day. Many countries give 2 months off with pay after giving birth, Finland…164 days. It can be done in this country. Companies choose not to.

It's just a performative hearing. No company would give you more money for less hours worked. Giant waste of time.
