Besides trying different gameplays with my physics engine, I did some random funny looking simulations just out of curiosity.

Can it simulate nukes and napalm? :3

Yes, a 2d approximation.

The Art of Flight is a homage to 80s/90s arcade action shmups with a fresh twist on the genre. Pilot multiple ships at the same time to take on oncoming waves of enemies in this fast paced space shooter. Wishlist on Steam today!

So cool! Is there any write-up on how it works? E.g. what constraint solvers are used, how collisions are detected & handled, etc?

I haven't done a technical post yet. All is simple. Particles interact by Euler method using Lennard-Jones force + viscosity. Rigid bodies interact with particles by just pushing them hard. Time step is small, so strong push forces look like elastic collision.

omg this reminds me of when I used to play OE Cake for years as a kid

Powder Game 2?

Mariongry birds got me, nice

...the physics based rope is really lively, but it's good to see the experiment.

This is very cool, thanks for sharing.

This looks great - on the gameplay front, have you ever heard of Dig N Rig? I wonder if a kind of game like that could work with realistic physics

I just checked this game, and the genre seems more of @LanttoGames department.
