Beta Blocker just got a big update on Windows and Android. Buckle in 🐾 🎨 New Censor Styles Windows gets a full new lineup of effects: Static, Glitch, RGB Shift, Terminal and lot's more. Android gets also gets most of them too! 🎭 Preset Styles Windows now has themed... preset styles, letting you swap between complete censor looks instantly instead of tuning every setting by hand. 🔄 Reverse Censor Reverse Censor is now available on Android, with a new Reverse Strength slider to choose your strength. There’s also a setup popup when enabling it, plus stronger One App coverage through Android Accessibility. On Windows, Reverse Censor is now more consistent across live mode, exports, recording, and virtual cam. 🎯 Per-Detection Overrides Windows now supports per-detection customization, so different detections can have their own style, text, and image instead of all sharing one global setup. 🧹 Fixes & Polish Fixed heavy cursor flickering during active blocking, improved performance for animated effects and larger boxes, and cleaned up several parts of the UI. This update also brings better language access, smoother scrolling, cleaner style controls, updated Android device targeting, support for the new Android settings in packs, cleaner overlay behaviour, and a smoother install/update experience. Just wrapped up Hardwood Empire 3.2. A lot of the most asked for features / improvements you guys have been pushing for are in this one. Live Interactive Court: Biggest visual upgrade we've made. Gamecast now has a full live court built into the sim with dynamic home court branding, center logos, arena styling, and live shot mapping. You can actually see where shots happen in real time instead of just reading text. Dynamic Crowds: Arenas feel alive now. Crowds scale based on prestige, so blue blood home games feel packed while smaller gyms feel smaller. Neutral site games can have split crowds depending on who's playing, and fans react live during big moments. Usage Control System: Still the normal 1st / 2nd / 3rd option setup, but now there's also full usage sliders if you want total control over offensive shot distribution. One guy taking over or a completely balanced system, totally up to you. Plugs directly into the actual sim. Music: Added in-game soundtracks for a more immersive experience, with more music coming next update. Gameplay / Sim Improvements: Big realism pass. Late game logic is much smarter, offensive systems behave more realistically, and I spent a lot of time tuning sim rates so scoring, assists, rebounds, pace, and advanced metrics better match modern college basketball. Also tuned long-term dynasty balance so smaller / mid-major schools can still have real breakthrough runs without turning into permanent national powers every save. Other Fixes + QOL: New Player IQ attribute. Working haptics on iOS + Android. Transfer portal affordability indicators. Career / retirement history fixes. International recruit fixes. Schedule + MTE fixes. UI polish. And more. Everything in this update is completely free. No God Mode purchase needed. 3.1 got submitted before I was even home from school, so 3.2 had way more time for polish and bug fixes, and the update after this will probably be way more bug-focused since the game has a ton of features now and making everything as polished and stable as possible is the priority. Most of these features will also be toggleable, so if you want the more classic Hardwood Empire experience you're more than welcome to play that way too. The app has a new name and icon: Herald, Companion for Hermes Agent. Still my unofficial app, now a lot closer to what you asked for. Here’s what changed 👇 Setup is much easier Run npx herald-setup on your computer. It configures Hermes, Tailscale, and a password. Scan the QR code and connect. You can also enter a Tailscale name, IP, or domain. Herald handles port and HTTPS detection. Pairing the same machine again updates it instead of creating duplicates, and the app handles signing back in after authentication errors. All your Bots in one place Connect multiple computers and see their Bots in one roster. Search across Bots, groups, and machines, with indicators showing who’s awake, working, or offline. Start a session in Telegram, your terminal, or Hermes Desktop and continue from your phone. Bots on different machines can join the same group, and the Kanban board now has activity badges. Photos, video, and audio inside the conversation Attach photos and they stay in the thread as thumbnails, even after you reopen the chat. An SVG your Bot drew, an MP3 it recorded, or a video it rendered now appears inline instead of as a file path. Tap to view full screen, share, or play directly in the chat. Media comes from your own Hermes and is cached on your phone. A much better chat experience Select and copy messages, copy code blocks with one tap, and preview HTML or SVG without leaving the conversation. Voice notes and dictation run through your own Hermes. On Android, long code blocks no longer trap your scrolling, and the keyboard no longer covers the message box. Make it yours Choose an accent color for your send button and your own message bubbles: graphite, slate, blue, green, purple, orange, or the original black and white. 💾 Okay I finally bought a Raspberry Pi 5 to make into a real retro computer as a proof of concept I love the Raspberry Pi much more than my ESP32 simply because I can SSH into it and it's just like a normal computer or server, the ESP32 required specific software to re-flash it everytime and it was TEDIOUS!!!! I need a fast feedback loop to develop with so all this flashing is too slow for me The Raspberry Pi 5 instead just runs Linux which then runs DOSBox-X to run Windows 3.11 install live downloaded from there so it stays fresh I then also got a Checkmate 19" IPS Retro Monitor by Stephen Jones (very indie and Kickstarter-style product) which is like a vintage retro PC monitor but with an OLED and it runs at 1280x1024, and the Raspberry Pi 5 has HDMI out so it works perfectly with it Then I got an 8BitDo retro IBM keyboard, but the spacebar broke, so I gotta send it back and get a new one, but it was great while it worked, so it's not in this video, and I got the 8BitDo retro mouse So altogether it's a proof of concept of a real vintage retro PC with internet and it works now My end goal is to make this into production and SELL it, not for money but more for fun because I think it should exist, just like Palmer Luckey's ModRetro Chromatic Gameboy-remake I'd go with something smaller than this 19" checkmate display though, it's great but too big for the Windows 3.11 era I think, more like 14" with a matching sized retro IBM-style keyboard and Windows 3.11 preinstalled (if legally allowed by Satya Nadella) with WiFi working out of the box We could also go with Windows 98/XP, because for me too Windows 3.11 was a very short time, so I too have vague memories of it, most of my computing memories is Windows 98/XP etc. Inside it could simply run on a Raspberry Pi 5 like here, which is easily powerful enough to run all of these OS'es I see many SF founders with Apple II's in their living room, and I guess cause Apple was more popular there back then, but in the rest of the world we were mostly IBM PCs and clones that ran Windows, so it's cool to have that as one retro object working with internet in your living room Anyway, step by step, we're here now 😊

WINDOWS // NYC For the past five years, I've immersed myself in a photographic, typological study of the illuminated windows of New York City at night. On June 16th, we invite you to build a new world with us, a multilayered, interconnected city of light and shadow, powered by Transient Labs Studio. This has been my biggest undertaking to date, and is the extension of my lifelong interest in photographic patterns and generative photography. This interest was crystalized in 2021 with my project DRIVE and continued in 2022 with Drip Drop. Over the years, I've learned so much about the conceptual world of typologies, about the intersection of photographic technologies and blockchain as immutable records of consensus and truth, and of course, about how the constant evolution of technology broadens the scope of what is possible for us artists- revealing new ways to create and connect with the people who seek to do the same. The process of creating WINDOWS // NYC has been the best sort of challenge, and as always, the incredible minds at Transient Labs have taken my ideas and built technological frameworks that have elevated this project beyond my wildest dreams. This feature also allows trinkets/pots/racials to get custom active states Players who share profiles: you can now include your full spell layout (which spells go where) and per-spell settings for CDM when exporting profiles! ----------- Full patch notes with new features and bugfixes: Profiles: - NEW: Profile exports can now carry your entire Cooldown Manager setup - which spells sit on which bars plus every per-spell setting - for the specs you choose, so importing a profile recreates your CDM layout instantly. CDM: - NEW: Give any trinket, potion, racial, or custom spell an Active State that adds its own glow and color while active, plus a Cooldown State Effect that changes its look based on whether it's ready. - NEW: Sync your trinkets, potions, and racials across specs with one button so you only set them up once. - Sound pickers for Focus Cast Sound and per-buff Audio Effect now have a search box. - Pandemic glow's Apply to All now also syncs tracking bars and keeps the same glow style everywhere. - A trinket, potion, or racial already on another bar now auto-moves to the new bar instead of being grayed out. - A buff saved under two spell IDs now shows as a single icon in the buff bar preview. - Cooldowns you remove from Blizzard's Cooldown Manager now disappear from your previews, while trinkets, racials, and custom spells are kept. - Added tracking for the Nightborne racial (Arcane Pulse), which was missing from the racial list. Tracking Bars: - NEW: Grouped bars now pack together with no blank gaps, always filling the next available slot. - Eclipse (Solar) and Eclipse (Lunar) now each drive their own bar. - Switching specs while the page is open now refreshes the selected bar correctly. - Pandemic glow now fires for Lifebloom on you or a group member. Resource Bars: - NEW: A new GCD Bar fills over your global cooldown, with full control over size, position, color, and look. - Expand Power Bar if No Resource now also expands when the class resource is toggled off or disabled for the spec. - Fixed the threshold color not showing with Enhance 5 Bar Style. - The cast bar latency overlay now reads live latency, so spell queueing no longer stops it showing. Raid Frames: - NEW: New healer tools including heal-absorb text, a crowd-control glow on debuffs, and more ways to position and highlight dispellable debuffs. - The Auto Resize toggle is now a dropdown that scales Indicators & Auras and Tracked Buffs independently with frame size. - New Show Over Dispels toggle lifts the heal-absorb overlay above the dispel gradient. - Fixed custom (non-20-player) sizes loading at the wrong position after login. Crimson Desert Update 1.04 is HUGE, adding difficulty settings and more. • Difficulty options added • New pets - birds, 5 new cats, and more • Added new Storage Chests that allow materials and ingredients to be used directly from storage • New weapons, quests, and armor for all 3 playable characters • Improved the rendering quality of distant objects and textures • Can now name your pets and horses • Pets can now equip accessories for a wider variety of roles • Abyss Gears, insects, fish, and animals now stack in inventory • Can now select between different house layouts • Improved housing controls and UI • Observing a skill you already have now rewards an Abyss Artifact • Added a new item that allows cats to stay on your shoulder for a longer time • New weapons for all three playable characters • New Baltheon armor for Kliff • New pet gear shop added to Pororin • Added more ores and wells across Pywell • Nerfed the amount of attack and defense gained from anvils and grindstones • Greymane camp NPCs now sell items at a 10% discount • Can now 'Lock' items to prevent accidental selling or deletion • New control presets for controller and KBM • Added a feature where, when the interaction key is pressed, the corresponding action is performed immediately • Can now switch the controls for Dodge Roll and Evasion • Improved aiming controls • Can now open the map directly on controller by holding down the Touch Pad or View button • Adjusted the overall balance of bosses - bosses are no longer immune while performing powerful attacks and the frequency at which they escape or counterattack has been adjusted • Increased damage taken from elemental status effects • Force Palm Pulse can now be charged up to 3 stages • Improved the overall speed of 'Examine' • Improved the speed of pushing or rotating objects during puzzles • Improved follow-up attacks so they connect more quickly even when the initial attack is blocked • Blinding Flash can now be used anywhere and auto-targets whatever target you're facing • Added a Weapon Throw ability while dual-wielding • Improved Force Palm attack speed • Inventory now has 5 category tabs • Inventory groups will now show relevant icons • Added a Filter/Search to the map • Reaching max trust with a shop will allow you to see their current stock directly from the map • Minimap now shows north, south, east, west • Shops now show how many of that item you own • Improved the visual quality of characters at long distances • Improved hair lighting in shaded areas, errors and flickering • Camera distance is now maintained when adjusting visual range • Can now disable Chromatic Aberration • Added Colorblind and Photosensitive accessibility modes Update is out now on Steam, PS5, and Xbox with other platforms coming soon.
