Sure, but the idea of simplifying the appearance of Fortnite, the locker and the shop are all going in the exact opposite direction of simplicity. Equipping cosmetics takes double, if not triple the clicks. The UI is impractical and janky, not to mention the introduction of buttons and drop-down menus that were far easier to access previously. Selecting a skin to rotate it, preview it or even spin it around now requires clicking on it, which then applies it to your loadout. Previously this needed a confirm button so you could preview and choose skins, backblings etc without loosing your currently equipped on if you want to go back. Wraps are not included as part of a character's preset despite being completely relevant to the skin worn. Changing emotes, lobby tracks, and all cosmetics now means you have to back out and change tabs, something that could have previously been done on 1 page. The sectioned tabs make sense with new types like LEGO Kits, Cars, Instruments but there's no need to separate Character from Wraps, Emotes or Lobby. Archiving or Favoriting items can no longer be done in batches or quickly. Previously all you had to do was click once per cosmetic on the button but now you have to enter a drop down and select it for every individual item. Applying wraps to all slots now requires a drop down menu rather than simply clicking the button at the bottom. Swinging a pickaxe or redeploying a glider is near impossible to do and feels like more of a chore to actually accomplish with the drop-down menu. It overlays onto other items meaning as soon as it's clicked the menu vanishes and switches to another cosmetic before the animation can even begin. Cosmetics in the locker can be searched by seasons using "S1-17" but after S18+ they no longer filter. Entering the drop-down menu or right-clicking anything in the locker accidentally immediately takes you all the way back to your currently equipped item when exiting. The filter menu requires an "apply" button to be pressed rather than simply closing and applying when selecting one of the filters, taking longer and more clicks to simply find your recent items or remove a filter. The filter menu was also better as a side panel so you don't have to move your cursor to the center of the screen and back every single time. As a side panel it also allowed for more options to be displayed, whereas the current one requires a huge scroll bar to simply filter by favorite. The presets menu scroll wheel also zooms the skins in and out as you scroll up and down the list. Because of the randomize preset button, the list compared to when saving a preset is all moved up by 1, becoming disorientating to where the preset was in relation to the rows. The shop no longer displays item descriptions or set names on cosmetics - now requiring a click on each individual item when there is adequate space to do so. The new shop and locker appearance can be accustomed to, however, it NEEDS the basic functionality and user-friendly UI elements that the previous ones had. Simple buttons at the bottom to favorite, swing, redeploy and equip. Less tabs to switch between, less clicks required to complete simple tasks and less feeling like there's a battle against the UI itself just to equip the cosmetics you paid for. We appreciate the moves the renew the locker and shop, but in terms of functionality and user interaction, there is nothing we want more than the old one back or the old one's elements merged into the new appearance. Just finishing up everything you guys voted on for 3.0. Here’s the feature list. Submitting tonight. Revamped Transfer Portal: Portal rebuilt from the ground up. Player cards now show fit at last school, why they're leaving, role they played, and minutes pattern so you know who you're getting. Stars are harder to land at low prestige unless you're spending real points and NIL. Also added JUCO players alongside the D1 transfers. Flips and Decommits: Recruits can now flip schools or decommit between windows. Rare but real. Full screen flip alert pops when you reach the dashboard so you don't miss it. Pure decommits put the kid back in the pool. Don't want any of it? Toggle flips off in settings. Freak Recruits: Generator now occasionally rolls something special. 6'9" point guards, stretch bigs that pass, athletic freaks at center. Tagged with a Freak badge. Rare enough to feel like a real find. Power Metrics: New analytics section. Pace, efficiency, four factors, strength adjusted ratings. When all we know is calories in versus calories out and move your ass harder at the gym, our body holds onto fat for dear life! Especially once we’re over 35 Especially once we’ve had children Especially when we’re in perimenopause or menopause Especially when we have no idea how to regulate our nervous system You see when your body does not feel safe , meaning it constantly is in fight or flight mode from all of the so-called dinosaurs chasing you every day, it won’t release the weight. Our bodies are actually very simple It’s just that they feel like they’re most important job is to keep you alive not thin 🤷‍♀️ So when you are constantly dealing with chronic stress every day, it shuts down your digestive track as well as disrupts your hormones and inflames your body, all to keep you alive. I know it seems counterproductive, but after all you are alive still, right! if you want to truly lose weight and keep it off and actually feel healthy enough to get good sleep and enjoy your life. It’s not going to be about calories in versus calories out. It’s not going to be about killing yourself in the gym. It’s going to be about learning to regulate your nervous system and get out of chronic stress mode ! This is possible I’ve done it And yes, I’m 50 years old and have three kids and homeschooled and own my own business and went through a divorce and have much trauma and abuse and neglect and everything else that you want to put on the plate . So there’s no excuses for you , if I can do it, so can you. And I’m here to help you do just that! TikTok just released new terms of service and make all accounts agree to them. American ran them through AI, here’s the breakdown - You can't be critical of political figures - Political groups could be blacklisted. A lot of the violation could be so it's subject to interpretation, their interpretation - In matters of social unrest or crisis, they can just change the rules, shut it down completely, whatever they decide to do - You're not allowed to mention other platforms, anything misleading, even if it's a joke. Can't tell jokes anymore because somebody might be confused - You are not allowed to criticize religion - There's a ban on dangerous stunts, so no more Nicki Minaj challenges with the high heels - You're not allowed to say sexy on your live feeds - You're also not allowed to say any brand names - You can't use AI to edit something or make it more realistic - You can't do anything funny with your pet if it's staged, they can say no, that's a violation - Can't have anything to do with being too skinny. No more skinny talk. - The prevention of harm. If they deem it that it could hurt somebody financially or emotionally, that rule is very vague and subject to just whatever they feel like saying - They can pull your video from the FYP page without deleting it, just calling it ineligible - They can decide if your video is not suitable for under 18 - They can change the rules on the fly, depending on where you're viewing from, like your geographic location. - Showing flags or logos in any kind of speech or using objects like, you know, how some people hold up the papers and stuff, that won't be allowed anymore. - If they decide your video helps a banned group, whoever they choose to ban, if they decide that you're helping them, that's a violation - If someone picks a fight with you and you do a clap back, that's a violation - If you've done things on a different platform, that's a violation - On TikTok now they reserve the right to limit who can search your videos, depending on if they like the content or not - If you win an appeal now, it doesn't mean that you're going to get back on the for you page. If you want to trick Meta into pushing your content to 10x more people, I have a hack for you. Here's how it works: Post regular organic content, could be a routine video, lifestyle shot, whatever. But in the caption, add something like "We have a guide with our top 10 hair, skin, and nails tips. Comment ‘GUIDE’ and we'll send it to you." The content doesn’t need to mention the guide. All you’re trying to do is incentivize people to comment on your post. Then, when people start commenting "GUIDE," the algorithm sees all that engagement and pushes the post to way more people. And the content gets more reach because Meta thinks it's getting crazy engagement. The strategy works great, but it creates a massive operational problem. Now you've got hundreds of people commenting asking for the guide, and someone has to manually DM each person. That kills the whole strategy. That's where automation comes in.
