Correct. :) You know how Dark Below and House of Wolves both had those pre-rendered sick cutscenes during marketing narrated over by a character? This was meant to be that for dlc03 with the cinematic showing the raid area.

That's awesome! It's a shame we never got the original content. I loved the Pyramidion strike and this area looks incredible.

This vibe is what destiny lost along the way yes the pyramidian is in d2 but it didn’t have this aura

Taken King is com01. Short for comet01. dlc01, dlc02, and dlc03 were the smaller ones like Dark Below and House of Wolves. After Taken King they were originally going to do 2 more smaller dlcs. The first being Vex focused with a pyramidion raid.

Everytime I see something like this i get pissed they fumbled so hard but also super glad to see it at least one more time. Hopefully the community can make something special, in time, with all this lost potential

dlc01 and dlc02 were the smaller Dark Below and House of Wolves expansions. com01 was Taken King (short for comet01). So this would've been the smaller dlc released right after Taken King around Winter 2015/Early 2016.

Yea, we’ve know about the canceled vex expansion for years. I always wondered if Panoptes was gonna be the main villian/raid boss, and they put him on the shelf, then used him for that nothingburger of a fight in COS because he still had a banger design

I really wish we could see the alternate timeline where this game wasnt fumbled as badly as it was and all of this stuff was implemented.

That top part is the drop down to The Whisper's boss room.

Considering how things went for Dark Below in terms of raid content, I'm guessing this thing planned for "Vex Void" wasn't much of a bigger space than what we got in D2's Io Pyramidion?
