Between the cyclist and the Prado driver who is clearly on the wrong?

It baffles me every time we put questions like who is wrong during an accident, driving is an art it's not about being right or wrong on the road, when you're driving you should know everyone else on the road is mad and you're the only conscious person.

I've done my part for the society.

People in the comments need to understand that the Prado was joining the highway and should have given way. The cyclist was just keeping to the left like he should. That's the Airtel/Ole Sereni overpass.

The cyclist here is wrong. You can’t be changing lanes like that. Besides why not keep to the shoulder of the road. No point going into the middle lanes on a bicycle. Very dangerous given the bike has no indicators and the relative speeds are quite different.

The cyclists was not changing lanes clearly the Prado was trying to merge and he got hit, so Prado is in the wrong however this is terrible road design for pedestrians and cyclists @KeNHAKenya

Cyclist was on mombasa rd and prado was joining mombasa rd. Prado is expected to yield/stop until the road is clear

Changing lanes like that without indicators is dangerous

Cyclist is wrong, zero situational awareness. Riding in the middle of the road. The Prado driver is wrong for joining like a tard and taking years to stop to check on an injured cyclist

The prado driver did it intentionally. The prado driver left her lane crashed into the bike by moving right and later went back to her lane. She was clear all along in her lane but she really wanted to hit the biker. She didnt even stop after the accident.

So many people talking bad of the cyclist, but cannot see that the lady in prado is joining the highway, she was ignorance and pushed forcefully, the exit wasn't clear, she was to slow down for the cyclist to pass before joining the highway 😞

In Kenya as a cyclist you must always assume that the driver of a vehicle is not seeing you. That's the altitude to ride on Kenyan roads.

I've watched this clip na ukiangalia how the lane is marked utaona the prado driver was in her place and the cyclists wasn't. Another thing you're not allowed to cycle in the middle of the highway especially with that speed of his. All in all everyone should be vigilant.

its the prado crossing the dotted white line and not the cyclist so prado was on the wrong you should only switch lanes after confirming it is clear for you to do so

As a cyclist myself, it's risky to cycle on the right side of the road. He should have kept to the outer lane on the left & have a blinking tail light on
