@Sammythewammy2 Well, I know a worldwide flood is impossible. Finding an Ark will provide evidence of a regional flood (and there were plenty of those). It will NOT provide ANY evidence of a worldwide flood. @grok, please estimate how many animal species existed on 🌎 in approximately 5000 BC.
Around 5000 BC animal species numbered roughly the same as today: about 7-8 million. Speciation typically takes hundreds of thousands to millions of years, so almost none occurred in 7000 years. Background extinctions were minimal; human-driven losses (mainly large vertebrates and some island endemics) affected a tiny fraction of total diversity, which is dominated by insects and other invertebrates.

Many of those losses happened after 5000 BC, so the mid-Holocene total was only modestly higher. Speciation is far too slow for meaningful gains in just 7,000 years.

Samples of what exactly? Where is this lab located? I know that's not the fabled Noah's Ark because there was never a world-wide global flood that allowed ANY ship or boat to get to that elevation, ~ 6,625 ft. Geologists have shown that there was never a world-wide flood 4-5-6 thousand years ago by examining the earth's strata, ice core samples and tree rings. Are you going to have the so called "non-fossilized seashell" Carbon-14, radiocarbon dated?

Lauren I see in the one video short it looks like they are taking core samples of what is believed to be the massive ribs of the ship. Fascinating those possible ship ribs are so evenly spaced. I also seen an interview with Rick Reiner speaking on the research being done right now.. In the interview Rick said a naval ship wreck investigator was there at the ark site. The gentleman told Rick he had investigated ancient wrecks all around the world. He said what he sees at the Ark site was in his experience, the remains of a very large ship. I found this along some of the other experts research is very promising. People need to remember the samples still have to be sent to I believe I heard you say three different labs? I have to say some of these people attacking your work, they sound really scared it will be proven to be Noah's ark. Just another reason I hope it is! GOD bless!🙏

There is a growing archeological view that the flood was real, given that there's tons of other religious that have flood myths of similar magnitude. Starting with the Mesopotanians. Maybe be less dogmatic about claiming this somehow debugs evolution? lol Finding an ancient boat won't be enough to debunk evolution.

I agree, we mustn’t jump the gun and ‘decide’ whether it is or it isn’t. That’s not good science. We must allow the tests to be run independently, and follow the conclusions they provide. However, given the claim that this could be Noah’s Ark, it’s unsurprising that there are very different and very loud opinions on this.
