I think the biggest issue is you're confusing justification with salvation. Salvation = justification + sanctification + judgement. Your salvation is not a one time event. You are saved, are being saved, will be saved. That is the salvation narrative. One is given the grace of God to freely cooperate with that grace to work out their salvation with fear and trembling. Your judgment is based on your works, which is not to be confused with meriting yourself to heaven as those works are possible by the grace of God alone. But you cooperate with that grace. Your cooperation will be judged. God does not judge himself in your works which renders the judgement of works meaningless if the judgment doesn't apply to you. Moreover, Christ's voluntary and vicarious satisfaction of the cross makes salvation possible. By grace through faith and baptism is your justification. Your sanctification is you keeping the commandments, possible by God's grace, and partaking of the sacraments. Your judgement will be on your works, made possible by Christ's sacrifice and God's grace. Romans 2:6-7 "For he will render to every man according to his works: 7 to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; 2 Corinthians 5:10 "10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive good or evil, according to what he has done in the body." 1 Peter 1:17 "And if you invoke as Father him who judges each one impartially according to his deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile." Revelation 20:12 "12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Also another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, by what they had done." Colossians 3:25 "25 For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality." 1 Corinthians 3:8 "He who plants and he who waters are equal, and each shall receive his wages according to his labor." 1 Cor 3:13 each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. 14 If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire. Phil 2:12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,

Future sins are not forgiven. 2 Peter 1:9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was (cleansed from his (old) sins.) Romans 3:25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance (God had passed over the sins that were {previously} committed,)

Jesus paid the price for all sins, no doubt. There isn’t one passage in the Bible which states that all of our future sins are already forgiven. Not one. We’re to confess and repent for sins we commit. God knows we need the cleansing which results from that. It’s a beautiful thing.

Jesus himself says that you must do the will of the Father. “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." He often calls out those who praise God, but don't act in His will.

Context- Jesus is wrapping up His Sermon on the Mount with a final warning about true faith. He predicts that false Christian prophets will be coming as wolves in sheep’s clothing . They’ll say all the right things and even make impressive displays of power, but they don’t belong to God. Just because a person claims to be a Christian doesn’t actually mean they are one. “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” “They asked him, ‘What must we do to do the works God requires?’ Jesus answered, ‘The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent’” So it’s those who are born again by faith in Christ and who will produce good works to the glory of God. Jesus isn’t breaking off the relationship here because there was never a relationship to begin with. Despite their fancy words and showy displays of religion, they had no relationship with Christ.

He paid it all, but if you don’t follow the commands of Jesus to be baptized, receive His literal flesh and blood, and repent of all grave sins then you did not accept His payment.

Faulty modern Christianity: “Our behavior doesn’t matter, just believe!” 🤡 Jesus Christ: “Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who DOES the will of My Father in heaven” “Be ye DOERS of the Word, not hearers only” Matt. 7:21–23

You can absolutely lose salvation. The verse referenced is John 5:24 which says, "Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life." But, in James 2:19 it says, "You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder." So the first verse can't be all there is otherwise you are saying belief alone saves you and that demons will be saved because they believe. Keep studying.

𝕄𝕚𝕤𝕤𝕪's profile picture

You didn’t work to earn your salvation, so how will you work to earn it back if you lose it?🤔 you can’t lose it because salvation is by grace through faith. Demons cannot demonstrate faith by good works; they have none because they’re lacking faith. They believe like many other people do, but they’re fruitless like fake professing christians. Most people believe it is important to eat healthy and exercise regularly but they don’t do either: People believe that a certain set of facts is true, but they haven’t committed themselves to the implications of the facts. They have belief but not faith. Many people believe in God and certain things about God, but they’ve never committed themselves to God if they haven’t trusted in Him. True saving faith results in repentance and sanctification and obedience and good works. lots of professing christians have no evidence of any of those things so they do not have faith True saving faith in Jesus = obedience + good works Obedience + good works does not equal salvation. Salvation is a gift to those who have faith in Jesus.  Romans 4:4 Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. 5 And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness, 6 just as David also speaks of the blessing of the one to whom God counts righteousness apart from works:

Faith alone is one of the biggest heresies man created and that doctrine has only been around for about 500 years. It is a recent invention.
