Seeing that my Cardano wallet had been hacked these past few days terrified me. I logged into my wallet overnight to check, and thankfully my ADA was still there. The luckiest thing was that I hadn't stored my ADA in my Yoroi wallet, so now I can sleep peacefully. Finally, I have to say, that damn Emurgo is utterly incompetent; how could they make such a basic mistake? The price of the coin plummeted, causing me to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I have been building a visualisation platform that maps activity across Cardano. The objective is simple. Transparency. When information is clear and accessible it strengthens the entire ecosystem. The platform is already showing how powerful that visibility can be and it continues to improve as more data is integrated. I have successfully traced the direction of genesis funds across the blockchain end to end. The focus of the work however has increasingly turned toward Emurgo and will continue to target Emurgo.. Whether I release the tool publicly is still something I am considering carefully. In the past I built AI systems over Cardano data and chose not to release them. The reason was simple. I did not want something powerful to be turned into a weapon that hunts for minor negatives inside what is otherwise one of the most important technological and innovative blockchains built in this space, and a result of years of hard work. I have no interest in fuelling drama. My intention has always been to present Cardano for what it actually is. A blockchain built through years of research and engineering, driven by the founding entities IOHK and the Cardano Foundation, and supported by people who genuinely care about the system including Charles and many others who have given years of effort to build it. That remains true regardless of some recent comments directed toward me in spaces. Those were disappointing, and did actually upset me being completely honest, also they missed the wider context of what I have been doing and I feel discounted my care for Cardano. However transparency works both ways. I will not ignore behaviour that undermines the principles Cardano governance is supposed to protect. Emurgo, a founding entity, is accumulating a rapidly increasing share of voting power through Yoroi DRep delegations. Many users appear completely unaware that this is happening. The interface suggests things along the lines of gaining rewards by delegating voting power to Yoroi as a DRep. What many users do not realise is that they are delegating governance influence directly to the same organisation that operates the wallet ,and worst still think they need to delegate to Yoroi to get their ADA rewards! I have received countless direct messages from affected users who did not understand what they had delegated. In several cases language barriers appear to make the situation worse, particularly for users outside the English speaking community. At present Yoroi and Emurgo, which are effectively the same entity in this context, represent roughly 17 percent of all voting power. That share is rising quickly. Based on the recent rate of growth it is not unreasonable to see this exceeding 50 percent within a few years if nothing changes. Governance concentration on that scale is not healthy for a system designed around distributed decision making. Cardano’s credibility depends on users understanding where their voting power sits and being able to move it freely to representatives who actually reflect their interests. The goal of the platform was never to show how much a founding entity spent or to cause drama. The goal was to show the decisions a founding entity made and how those decisions shaped the blockchain in an era of governance

Dear Cardano & crypto holders... It's pretty crazy I'm writing this, but....Cardano just got its first Tier 1 stablecoin. It's not a wrapped token or something like that. USDCx is issued directly through Circle's xReserve infrastructure and it is backed 1:1 by USDC. We should understand why this is such a big deal. The real macro significance is the institutional access argument...institutions typically won't deploy capital on-chain without a trusted, redeemable stablecoin. So this was a huge problem for Cardano. That blocker is now removed! Whether that actually attracts institutional capital is the question that gets answered over the next few months into the new cycle. Cardano TVL is currently $140M (up from $127M in Feb) 15M+ USDCx minted since launch Stablecoin market cap on Cardano now is $48M The TVL trend from here is probably one of the best things to pay attention to. "Genesis ADA should be spent for this or Genesis ADA should be spent for that - its a closed matter." "there is not going to be moving forward anymore discussion, at least from the Input Output side, about Genesis ADA and what do we do with Genesis ADA [...] its PROFIT" So Charles and other people got: 2,463,071,701 ADA (2.46 Billion!) So basically he said: The matter is closed. Anyone questioning why this ADA is not being used to develop or improve Cardano is part of a Twitter mob with no basis in reality, as it is his/their PROFIT and he/they will not use it for that reason. Hahahaha,... Yeah Charles, lets save Africa, right? Guy and his friends/partners sitting on 2.46 Billion in PROFITS, and asking for hundreds of Millions from the Treasury, as payment in order to contribute to Cardano. OKAY here is the tea: Congo's PFP wallet is $web3countryclub Associated Wallet address confirmed by him to be his. stake1u9w62r78n2aac5zajvxtt0tsu5g694lhahnkg8cdu2yrmlsglwxpw Almost 30,000 ADA's worth of SOC was loaned using the LEVVY Dapp FEB 6th by this wallet which is already defaulted... Only loans taken from this account in the last 4 months, so it wasn't being used much at all. Also, this wallet sold a close to 17,000 ADA on the open market on February 12th, and February 13th prior to the LEVVY token announcement which was put out with incomplete information we still do not have. Now the recording below is of the ape discord questions post their 16 minute space of the announcement. It is of myself asking the team if any insider trading happened prior to an announcement like this-- given the obvious reaction that was to follow. In the video you can hear Matasa guaranteeing the facts that no one of the team sold anything. Congo says in the video "We expected this" in regards to the reaction from the community. Congo you f'd up. You were inside trading on your own project prior to a huge announcement changing the center of gravity of tokens. Through DM's with Cardano Shield, I got this response from him (Congo) about the wallet and transaction/loans. This clip is deeply disturbing, it was shared with me today. A senior IOG employee describes autonomous killing drones using "skin tone" to identify targets, says it would be "quite trivial" and adds that for "third world" cultures it would be nearly impossible to defend against. Why is this the kind of example being casually discussed by someone representing a major Cardano company? This is not an isolated concern. We have already seen racial slurs from people connected to or aligned with IOG/Cardano governance circles. ie. Phil 🪏 a CC member and Lucas a former employee Does Input Output Group condone this kind of language and thinking from its employees, consultants or representatives? Do companies and organizations working with IOG, Cardano institutions, Cardano Foundation, EMURGO consider this acceptable? Because every time institutions fund, endorse or defend an IOG proposal without demanding accountability, they should ask themselves what behavior they are normalizing. Influencers keep talking about "controlling the narrative." But maybe the real issue is not the narrative. Maybe the issue is the conduct, comments and culture people are being asked to ignore. You cannot market your way out of this. Big companies, regulators and serious partners do not look at comments like this and say "great ecosystem." They ask what kind of culture allows it.

At our first in-person Roundtable Talk at w3.hub in Berlin, we explored what it really means to engage and build as a developer on Cardano. One key insight from Dr. Navjit Dhaliwal was how networking and value creation naturally happen when people connect around the ecosystem. As Dr. Navjit Dhaliwal explained: “Even if you don’t network, you are networking in a sense because you’re talking, you’re communicating, and the backdrop is about building on Cardano. The value proposition speaks for itself when you present use cases, adoption, and what’s actually realized on Cardano.” It was a great reminder that whether through focused tooling sessions or broader community events, facilitating meaningful conversations helps developers experience the real value of building on Cardano. #CardanoShorts 🧵

Listen carefully. 40 seconds. This is Charles Hoskinson - founder of Cardano - speaking publicly in an X Space he created and hosted himself, about token holders of projects within his own ecosystem. "I don't give a shit about your token holders. I don't give a shit about your bag holders." "If you attack my ambassadors, I will burn you to the ground." "The appropriate thing to do is apologize and back the fuck off. And then we have no problem." The full audio is attached to this post. Listen yourself. Now understand who he was actually talking about. The "token holders" he dismissed are not strangers in some separate ecosystem. They are ADA holders. They run Cardano stake pools. They vote as DReps. They build on Cardano. They hold the IAG, the SNEK, the NIGHT, the tokens of every project inside this network - and they hold ADA alongside them. When IAG crashed 32%, real ADA holders lost real money. When any project inside Cardano takes a hit from this kind of campaign, the damage flows straight into the same wallets that hold ADA. There is no separate "their holders" and "his holders." There is only us. So when he says he doesn't give a shit about your bag holders, he is talking about Cardano holders - YOU! When he says he will burn you to the ground, he is talking about burning projects inside his own ecosystem - and the people invested in them are the same people invested in him. A streamer that I've known for years, rastaland.TV, who has stage 4 cancer, got his creator fees drained by downloading a Steam game (which turned out to be malicious even though it was on Steam). I'm not saying buy the coin right now because the hacker has access to the wallet and will get the funds. But once we get him sorted with a CTO on a secure wallet, it would be great if people could show support. I'm going to be playing CS2 with him sometime this week on stream if he has the energy. Over 30k was stolen, which was supposed to be for his treatment. It's disgusting that people like this exist, but there's nothing that can be done about that now. Don't send anything to the SOL wallet on his profile yet either because it's the same one that is compromised. I'm confident that he will have the volume to make back what he lost, but the best thing to do right now is to support him/watch his streams when this is resolved. Hopefully, someone on the pumpfun team has enough empathy to get him some attention. @pumpdotfun alon

Instead of relying on energy-intensive mining hardware, Ouroboros selects validators (known as slot leaders) to create new blocks based on the amount of cryptocurrency (ADA) they hold and stake in the network. Waves Studio, a design company, and I were discussing how there aren't many short, informative videos out there explaining basic concepts for new users anymore.
