This clip is deeply disturbing, it was shared with me today. A senior IOG employee describes autonomous killing drones using "skin tone" to identify targets, says it would be "quite trivial" and adds that for "third world" cultures it would be nearly impossible to defend against. Why is this...

Q: Why is company culture important? In the clip below, a16z cofounder Ben Horowitz argues that culture drives how people in your company behave on a daily basis—and particularly, how they behave when you’re not looking. Is that phone call so important I need to return it today or can it wait until tomorrow? Can I ask for a raise before my annual review? Is the quality of this document good enough or should I keep working on it? Do I have to be on time for that meeting? Should I stay at the Four Seasons or the Red Roof Inn? Should I go home at 5 p.m. or 8 p.m.? Should we discuss the color of this new product for five minutes or thirty hours? If I know something is badly broken in the company, should I say something? Whom should I tell? Is winning more important than ethics? None of these things are in your mission statement or OKRs, but they determine many important things for your company, such as how people experience your company, what you’re like to do business with, what your company is like to work at, etc. And as Ben describes, what drives the culture is all of the little behaviors and cues people take on: “this is what I have to do to succeed in this company.” Culture can feel abstract and secondary when you pit it against a concrete result that’s right in front of you, but it’s a strategic investment in the company doing things the right way when you are not looking. It’s the set of assumptions your employees use to resolve the problems they face every day. It’s how they behave when no one is looking. If you don’t methodically set your culture, then two-thirds of it will end up being accidental, and the rest will be a mistake. If you’re looking for a more in-depth guide to culture and how to build a great one, I’d recommend Ben’s book: What You Do Is Who You Are.

Culture is genetic because behavior is genetic. This beaver never saw a dam in its life. No beavers or anything else ever taught it to build a dam. It wants to build a dam because it is a beaver. Many beavers together build a big dam. That is beaver culture. Humans are not different. Nothing is different. This is what life is. This is how life works. Your body is your mind. A caterpillar wants to build a chrysalis. A bee wants to build a hive. A lion wants to build a pride. You are not special. You are not above your nature. you are INSIDE of it. The thoughts that we think are genetic thoughts. The crimes we commit are genetic crimes. The art we create is genetic art. Just like this beaver, you can give the animal different sticks and it will build a different dam, but it will always build a dam. And you can give humans different "education," but the human will always use it to do what its genes tell it to do. This is the first big answer that you need. This is the biggest piece of the puzzle. This is how to understand people 90% of the way. You just... notice what they do, and get out of the way, and watch them do it. And if they need sticks, you give them sticks. And if you don't like what they do, you have to get away from them. You cannot train dam-building into them or out of them any more than you can with a beaver. A beaver wants to build a dam because it is a beaver. Whatever you see people build, that's what they wanted to build from the sticks they got in the river they were in. Stop pretending you can change it.

Good Morning Cardano Serviceplan Group, the marketing agency who also works for companies like BMW, Netflix, Amazon, etc. has just submitted an official Marketing proposal for the Intersect Budget process. After 1.5 years of building Masumi & becoming closer & closer to Cardano, they've decided that they want to become Cardanos official Marketing partner. Some disclaimers first: 1) I am an unpaid advisor to this proposal. Yes, unpaid. I do not get any money if it wins but I've decided to give some of my time & help Serviceplan with connections into the ecosystem because I believe that professional marketing like this is very much needed in Cardano. 2) This is a joint proposal coming from multiple different agencies from inside the Serviceplan Group. Serviceplan has around 6000+ employees. The team working on this is a different team than the one working on Masumi. 3) This proposal is not a grant or some speculative investment or so. It's an actual proposal for very specific work package that will be carried out. It's the first time SP has ever done "public pitch" like this, normally they're used to pitching in front of marketing departments of large enterprises. 6 months of work went into drafting this proposal. So please be nice, even when you have criticism. :) 4) Serviceplan is the only entity that I know of from outside of Cardano that has invested a Multi-Million dollar amount into Cardano development in recent years. I'm not sure I'm allowed to say the exact number but let's just say this: If they win this proposal + the Catalyst proposals they've received for Masumi, it will still be less than what they've invested into Cardano so far. That alone should be reason to take a very serious look at this. Now about the proposal itself: The goal of this proposal is to broadly "reposition" Cardano as the Blockchain for serious business. It's specially built so it captures Leads & distributes them into the ecosystem. The main pillars that the proposal focuses on are 1) DeFi and 2) Supply Chain. Now I highly recommend everyone for read through the full proposal, I will put the link to the PDF into the comments.

‼️Cardano Community is set to shock the entire market. Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson (Charles Hoskinson) recently dropped a massive reality check on what it will actually take to onboard the next billion people into Web3: "If we want to bring $10 trillion in and billions of people in, we need a new narrative for cryptocurrencies. We need the narrative that it's with you in life wherever you take it, and it makes life simpler, safer, more private, and easier for everybody." This profound shift in perspective is exactly why we proudly support Cardano. When it comes to building a platform truly capable of safely onboarding millions of new everyday users, Cardano is in a league of its own. It wasn't built for short-term hype; it was engineered from day one with peer-reviewed security, flawless uptime, and true decentralization to handle real-world demands. From digital identity to private, secure micro-transactions, Cardano is designing the exact infrastructure needed to make Web3 invisible, intuitive, and incredibly safe for the average person. We firmly believe in this vision and the strength of the cardano:native ecosystem. Despite the daily noise of the market, the underlying technology has never been stronger. The foundation is rock-solid, the community is unmatched, and we are confident that the future for Cardano is absolutely brilliant. The real adoption phase is just getting started, and Cardano is perfectly positioned to lead the way.

This Remote Viewer Just Dropped a BOMBSHELL Warning of an UNEXPECTED Future U.S. President Change?! Edward Riordan was tasked to look at the future president of 2030 and the data that came back was surprising: "...the idea here is of a new leader stepping in. The person is ripe for the time and timing, feeding off of the angst of the people. This feels like a major shift. But why? I had to wonder. This person will come to power and signify a new phase has begun. This feels future based. Like this plan is being arranged and the person is being groomed now." "...Not not too far out. There seems to be more prep for the individual and the situation that is needed, but I had to wonder what kind of situation are we talking about here? And it seemed crisis based, like someone is brought down in this person is brought in...." "...it feels like a large shift in the structure of things in order out of chaos scenario like Venezuela, a chaotic environment that is being orchestrated into order." "...This person, this person is being presented for this time to the people and the world to see.... But here was this person. They were on a stage, but they didn't have a face. It was very, very strange. They didn't even have a they didn't have a face for some reason." "...It's like the death of a king or a ruler. The country stops. The world stops for a moment. An example would be if something happened to President Trump, the world would stop for a moment. This level of magnitude, the people don't know what to do next." "...Taking advantage of a heightened emotional state to push propaganda and a narrative, this person steps in at a high emotion period with a strong sense of filling someone's shoes or replacing them, possibly due to a death...."

A very prominent African shared this video with me and joked, “…this is the best illustration of your people.” It is true that the real danger is not the fire; it is the blind obedience by the sheep. The real danger is no longer ZANUPF as far as the world is now concerned, it is the blind obedience we give it daily and our inability to see a way out of this mess. The same way these sheep are hopelessly made to go around a fire is the same way ZANUPF, and indeed the opposition, treats you. They throw out any useless idea, and you all run with it, regardless of how stupid it is. ZANUPF will tell you that sanctions have destroyed Zimbabwe, even as you witness their daily looting, and some fool will run with that cheap sanctions propaganda even when presented with figures of looted funds. Opposition supporters will be told that this time they do not need a constitution or structures, and they will still run with such a crazy idea, believing it will work. The real danger is the people’s inability to think for themselves and ask the right questions, instead of being shepherded into stupidity like sheep. A real man or woman doesn’t feel pity for being stupid when they find out, they fix the problem that created that stupidity and move on! They don’t defend being stupid, they realise their mistakes and remove the stupidity and become better people! Every Zimbabwean is a legitimate victim of shame due to the stupidity that has engulfed our country. Regardless of whether you drive a Bentley, are a professor, or an award-winning journalist, lawyer or doctor, as long as you are Zimbabwean, you carry the stain of the political stupidity that has come to define our country. Stupid people defend their stupidity; smart people realise they are in stupidity terrain and move away. What are you? What are we?

This video of a young male student beating up a female student because she said she does not want to be in a relationship with him is wrong on so many levels. I will start with the simplest issue. The person recording and just watching is as culpable as the idiot committing the violence. He should have intervened and stopped this coward from assaulting an innocent girl. The boy carrying out the violence is wicked and dangerous. This is the kind of behaviour that grows into a violent man, a violent partner, someone who cannot take no for an answer. That mindset is already visible here. Women and girls have agency and the absolute right to reject a proposal. When a woman says she does not want you, you respect that decision. You do not intimidate her. You do not force yourself on her. What we are seeing here is also a reflection of upbringing and socialisation. This kind of violence is learned. A boy who thinks this is acceptable behaviour has likely seen it normalised at home or in his community, perhaps watching a father abuse a mother and believing that it is acceptable. I never saw my father lift a hand or even raise his voice against my mother. That is why this is so disturbing. The Zimbabwean police must identify this young man and deal with him decisively. If such behaviour is ignored, these are the same young men who later become murderers because violence has been normalised in their minds. Beating a woman because she said no is not strength. It is weakness of character, weakness of mind, and moral failure. I also want to commend this young girl. She showed courage in the face of brutality. If anyone knows her, please identify her. I want to do something for her. She deserves recognition for standing up to a cowardly bully. And to the Zimbabwe Republic Police Zimbabwe Republic Police, this is what we have been saying for years, to you and to the political elites who routinely use violence against citizens. Violence has been normalised in our society. Children have grown up watching the police use force against civilians. They have seen soldiers brutalise and kill citizens, and they have learned from it. They now believe that violence is acceptable and that every dispute must be settled through force. This is not happening in a vacuum. This culture of violence has been taught, demonstrated, and tolerated from the top. What we are witnessing in our streets and schools is a mirror of what the state has normalised. This, too, is on your doorstep.

A wise man once said that when xenophobes are done targeting foreigners, they will eventually turn on fellow South Africans whom they think do not “look South African.” Sadly, that is exactly what is now happening. It is heartbreaking to watch brother turn against brother, South African turn against South African, simply because they speak different vernacular languages, belong to different ethnic groups, or do not fit someone else’s narrow idea of what a South African should look like. This is backward, dangerous, and deeply shameful. A country cannot build unity or progress when people are policing each other’s identity based on accents, language, skin tone, surnames, or tribes. Today it is someone being accused of being foreign. Tomorrow it will be another South African being told they are not “South African enough.” That is how hatred destroys societies from within. This is why the rest of the world sometimes laughs at Africans. We fight each other over the very things that should make us stronger, our diversity, cultures, and identities. Instead of uniting against poverty, corruption, unemployment, and failed leadership, people are busy hunting one another over tribe and language. This is the worst form of ignorance because it strips people of their dignity and humanity. I hope this brother recovers from the trauma and humiliation of being treated like an outsider in his own country. I cannot imagine the pain of being called a foreigner by people who believe you must speak their language or look like them to belong.

Lecture in Kabul about Shia vs Sunni (rough translation); This is a hot topic today, let us pray that Allah (swt) removes this enmity and animosity between us. The Muslim Ummah has been destroyed by this jealousy, grudge and enmity. It has destroyed our unity. It is the English who have turned us against each other, they have spread suspicion between sects and schools of thoughts. Let us remember that this war which America and Israel is waging is not against Shias, it is a war against Islam. America and Israel are thinking about destroying Islam. They are not thinking about “this is Shia and this is Sunni”. They did this in Iraq, pelting Shias and Sunnis against each other. They did the same in Syria. They were here in Afghanistan for 20 years, where was the talk about Shia? Were they talking and fighting Shias? No. The sole purpose of America and Israel is to make Muslims weak. Because for 1,200 years in this world, it was Muslims running empires. Muslims were powerful rulers under the banner of Islam. So America and Israel don’t want Muslims to stand on their feet again and become rulers of the world. If someone raises his head as a Muslim, they take care of them right there and then. There must be few thousand people in this majlis, forgive my language, they either take out the head, or take out the bottom (castrate then). They have castrated many countries, they have castrated the Arab countries, including Pakistan. I hope no one says that is a Muslim country with an atom bomb, no, Pakistan is castrated. The atom bomb is not under its own control, it is under the control of the English and Americans. They say we will either chop the head of a Muslim, or chop the bottom of a Muslim. One of them must be chopped. And this is what they have done. Have they done this or not? Tell the truth. All Arab countries have turned themselves like animals with four legs and have handed over the leash to America. Have they done this or not? Its leash is in the hand of America. They can’t even raise their voice a little, to show that they are independent, and to show that their heads are on top of their own neck, they cannot say anything. Does slavery have a tail and horn? Is this true or not, tell the truth? Allah (swt) says; “And prepare against them whatever you are able of power” In that era, it was swords, horses, armors, helmets, this was in the era of the prophet (pbuh). Now, those things will not work. Today, even a gun is not sufficient, now it is missiles, drones, atom bombs, press a switch and it goes to its destination. This is an order from Allah that Muslims should prepare against the enemy, and deter the enemy. Don’t start problems between each other over sects, otherwise you will be finished. Allah has said to us in the Quran; “and do not dispute and [thus] lose courage and [then] your strength would depart” You will be destroyed, your strength will be gone. This strength will be wasted and lost against each other. Is this true or not? These bullets, these weapons and martyrs from this side, and in that side, Pakistan fights Afghanistan under the command of America, right? They are Muslim, at least they are Muslim by name, it is a Muslim country, so wouldn’t it have been better if this strength, if those bullets and weapons were used against Israel and the enemies of Muslims? But our strength is being used against each other. How unfortunate is this? Whose plots are these? The plots of the English. They say muddy the water, and catch the fish…

Yes, indeed, this is lawlessness by any standard. Even by banana republic standards, this is still lawlessness. Your country has a constitution, it has a government, it has a police service, and it has a ruling party. I am sure you can see that some of the people there are actually wearing ruling party T-shirts. It is lawless regardless of whoever does it. It is an embarrassment to South Africa as a country, what you are doing and what you are encouraging people to do. Your country has an immigration service. If people are in your country illegally, they should be arrested and deported through lawful processes. You do not go around destroying property, tearing down markets, and attacking people. It is illegal regardless of whoever does it. It is not illegal because I have said so. It is illegal because the laws of your country make it so. This is vigilantism, pure and simple, and it is tainting the reputation of South Africa, not only across Africa but across the world. If you have got satellite television in your home, you can see that these actions are being reported everywhere. It is not good for your country. This kind of barbarism undermines the rule of law, fuels division, and damages South Africa’s standing as a constitutional democracy. It is the actions of a few that are tainting the reputation of many. The average South African is not mindless like this. They respect the law, and they respect the fact that among them, in their communities, there are people from other countries. If those people are in the country illegally, you report them and the law takes its course through proper processes of arrest and deportation. You do not descend into mob justice, lawlessness, and destruction. That is not who South Africans are, and it must not be normalised.
