Gliders India Limited (GIL) has successfully carried out the first live jumps of its newly developed Advanced Parachute System. The system was designed along with #ADRDE. Two parachutes, cleared by DGAQA and certified by CEMILAC (RCMA Kanpur), were tested on 20 February 2026 at the Malpura Drop Zone in Agra. The new parachute system supports multiple deployment modes, allowing jumps from different heights. This achievement strengthens India’s effort to develop modern and reliable equipment for the Armed Forces.

My first time in Makongeni, despite me plying Jogoo Road almost daily for over 30 years. Recyclers from Dandora, Umoja 3, Shauri Moyo and other neighbourhoods are here looking for metal in its different forms, and will cut stones to sell. They told me stones are selling for 10/- and metal at 50/- a kilo. Also here are ladies selling water, ice cream and other refreshments to those working informally at the demolition that will pave the way for 'affordable housing'.

I created a time-lapse using 9 minutes of images captured by Mars Perseverance on October 2nd, and we clearly observe something traveling very fast across the night sky against the normal motion of travel (due to Mar's rotation). Remember that #3IATLAS is moving incredibly quick at ~60 km/s, faster than nearly all objects in the Solar System. Credit to Drew Doss for first spotting this!

San Antonio is without question a big & intensely altered system with porphyry style mineralization traced for more than 3km with the following attributes: 1. Multiple styles of porphyry related mineralization encountered through drilling incl. copper and gold porphyry mineralization, late stage CBM veins and sulfosalts. 2. Hole SAC-11 discovered a porphyry system by intersecting 290.2m @ 0.58 g/t Au, 3 g/t Ag and 0.17% Cu. We are hunting for the source of this mineralization 3.
