I inspected the work of the station and track laying; this is really good progress. Several new technologies have been introduced into the work on tracks. These new technologies are unique for bullet train project. We will benefit from this in several other project in the country. If you look at the station, there is a speciality there, too. All trains will halt at Surat Station, there are two tracks at the side and two in the centre, there are two platforms here - one in Mumbai's direction and another in Ahmedabad's direction. There is a huge concourse in the centre...High-speed rail turnouts are very specially designed because when trains run at speeds of 320, 330, 340 km/hr and when two tracks are connecting, there should be no gap. 🚆✅ We're delighted to announce that we're able to resume our normal timetable from Glasgow Central High Level on Wednesday (25 March), after work was completed to reinstate the remaining platforms at the station. ℹ️ Public safety is still the main priority so not all entrances and exits to the high level are open. An exclusion zone around the area worst affected by the fire is still in place so the entrances to the station on Gordon Street and Union Street will remain closed until further notice. 📱 We're advising customers to continue to check their journey before travelling as there may be some minor alterations to services due to some trains being out of position following the station closure. On 16th July 2024, KAVACH 4.0 was technically qualified, updated, and immediately afterward, work on nearly 20,000 km has been taken up #KAVACH is not just a device; it's a complete system. Pune Metro Guard, Mr. Vikas Bangar, displayed an exemplary presence of mind that saved the life of a 3-year-old boy. On the date 19.01.2024 at 14:22 hrs, a 3-year-old boy fell on the tracks from the Civil Court Elevated Station, Platform 2. To save the child, the child's mother also fell in an attempt to rescue her child. The on-duty guard observed the incident and immediately operated the emergency train stop button while the train was just 30 meters away from the station on both sides. After operating the button, the train on both tracks stopped before the Civil Court Elevated Station. In the meantime, the child and his mother were successfully rescued from the track and reunited with their family. Guard Shri. Vikas Bangar is being felicitated by Maha Metro for his exemplary work. #punemetro

The work at Adiyan Water Works Phase II Project is going on steadily as scheduled with the pipe laying at 98% completion. While there are some contingencies to smoothen out, the hard work continues to be done and in accordance to the project timeline with maximum efficiency. This project, a 320,000³/day water treatment plant, when completed, will supply over 70millions gallons of water to homes within the Lagos metropolis. In no time, houses across Lagos will have pipe borne water flowing yet again. This reaffirms the Babajide Sanwo-Olu led administration’s commitment to ensuring supply of portable water to homes in Lagos State in line with the THEMES+ Agenda. #CleanerLagos #AGreaterLagosRising

Good news on the jet engine project ✅: I redesigned the exhaust system again to prioritize cooling, thrust & the afterburner sequence all together, it now works better✅, no red hot situation on the exhaust at all✅ The new design also reduces pressure on the turbine on AB mode✅ This test was done with gas for the main engine running at 50% power, then liquid kerosene for the AB🔥. I wish to change the fuel nozzles on the main burner to a more powerful one next week, then we'll do this test again close to 100% power which will be louder & much more violent ⚡️ After that, we'll go straight to a runway & let this beast run🚀 #Zedora #madeinEbonyi 🇳🇬
