VIDEO | Kolkata: Reacting to the Murshidabad railway crossing accident, TMC leader Mahua Moitra says, "An incident took place today in Govindapur, Murshidabad, where the railway gate was not lowered when a school van carrying five children was crossing. The children have died. It is a very sad incident. The Railway Ministry must clamp down on this system because anything that depends on human intervention, where a person is responsible for closing a gate, is prone to human error. It is high time we moved to a fully automated system, and I would urge the Railway Minister to treat this as a top priority. Unfortunately, safety issues in India continue to receive very low priority. Even in 2026, we are witnessing deaths like these, where a vehicle crosses a railway track and children lose their lives. We have also seen the KAVACH system. It is supposed to cover the entire railway network, but that has still not happened. While a high-speed railway line worth Rs 1.30 lakh crore has been built between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, the cost of covering the entire Indian Railways network with KAVACH is around Rs 63,000 crore. Yet that has not been completed. We have no objection to high-speed railways, but we believe the Railways' priority should be safety measures, both on the tracks and in situations like this."

#WATCH | Satyanarayan Nuwal, Chairman, Solar Defence and Aerospace Ltd. (SDAL) says, "This entire system is complete in itself. We will complete its internal trials in 2-3 months. Officers from Navy had come yesterday. And now, Army officers saw this. We had already tested micro missile in Balasore and Pokhran. Today, we also tested radar, electro-optics control system missile, we have the complete system. Trials have also been done. Radar has the range of upto 10 km and the EOTS (electro-optical tracking system) is six kilometers. But as per the requirement of the Army, its range is up to two and a half kilometers. But we have already started making this six kilometer missile and the most important thing is that whatever the Prime Minister had envisioned and dreamed about Sudarshan Chakra, I believe that whatever the agencies, DRDO or anything else do in this regard, but I am confident that on the basis of this Bhargavastra which has been made till date, I can say with confidence that by 2030, we will be completely successful in making Sudarshan Chakra which has a range of 2.5 kilometer, 6 kilometer and 25 kilometer..."

MANAGEMENT MEET WITH #KERNEX MICROSYSTEMS (INDIA) LTD. We discussed the following topics with the CEO/COO Sh. E.B. Rao ji of #Kernex : 1. What will be the impact from the entry of 2 new players ,i.e, #GG Tronics & #Siemens? A: There are 2 phases that any new vendor has to pass through before participating in the tenders: (a) Successful completion of trials of #Kavach ( including Inter-compatibility has to assured) : It takes almost a year’s time (b) ISA (Independent Safety Assessment ) Certification : It takes another 1 to 1.5 years time So for the next 2 years there are very low chances that any of these 2 players can enter the market directly and participate in the tenders. They might do the implementation but the #TCAS will have to be purchased from any of the existing 3 registered vendors only till the trials and certification work is not completed. 2. Is the execution of #Kavach on track as per communicated in AGM. i.e. 315-325 cr for FY 23-24. and 1200 cr for FY 24-25? A. Yes the execution is on track as guided by the management in the AGM. 3. Possibility of increasing the per km cost due to entry of new players (how will the gap of 50L and 2 cr will be justified/bridged?) The cost of Rs.50L per km for implementation of Kavach is only an estimate and it varies on different railway routes. It can increase or decrease as per the complexity of the track and other factors. 4. What will be the share of #Kernex and #KEC in the JV for Project 1 and Project 2? A: Kernex share will be 2/3rd and #KEC International share will be 1/3rd. The entire invoice proceeds will come in Kernex bank account and the share of KEC will be paid by Kernex and will be shown as an expense in the Statement of P&L. #KEC International will be doing the Civil work (construction of Control rooms) and cable laying for the implementation of Kavach. 5. When will the new CEO be appointed in the company for better execution of orders? A: CEO/COO has already been appointed. His name is Sh. E.B Rao ji. He is taking care of the entire operations. 6. What is the status of the Oct-Dec 2023 Tender as per the 31st AGM? A: The tender will get delayed due to upgradation requirement of TCAS. RDSO requirement is of Kavach 4.0 whereas all the existing 3 players have developed Kavach 3.20 and are in the process of upgrading the same. 7. How much time will it take to upgrade the Kavach from 3.20 to 4.0? A: As per the management the development and upgradation will be done latest by 31st December, 2023 but getting ISA certified will take another 3-4 months after the development is completed. 8. Is there a possibility that a penalty may be levied on Kernex for delay in execution of orders or the Railways may choose not to offer next tender therein? A: As of now Kernex is on track and the order execution is getting delayed due to some requirements of RDSO. So there are zero chances of any penalty on Kernex. Also Kernex is completely ready to grab the next tendor and everything is under control as guided by the management. 9. What is the progress on NCR order of Vande Bharat? A: The execution will be completed by the end of the month December, 2023 and invoicing will be done in January and the payment will be received within 30 days of generating the invoice. 10. Is there any new segments or verticals that the company is exploring apart from TCAS/Kavach? A: Yes, the company is venturing into Moving blocks (a communication based system) for railway lines. They are also entering into Smart Yard Management system to avoid accidents in operations of industries. These will open up new revenue streams for the company. 11. What is the position of working capital at the moment? Does it affect the implementation of order on hand, at this time? A: The current funds raised through preferential will be sufficient for current year targets and execution of 550 cr orders in hand. For achieving the targets of next year the company is already in contact with few fund houses for raising close to 600 crore (collateral free loan). 12. Is the working capital likely to improve with milestone payments? When such payments are likely and to what extent? A: Yes. As soon as the Kavach implementation gets completed, the invoice is raised and the payment is received within 30 days. By December end few projects are on the verge of getting completed and the payments from the same will start coming in a month’s time and that will likely improve the working capital problem of the company. This will help identify every property in this country. According to Minister Bosun Tijani, the system will assign a unique address to every building, making deliveries faster, boosting e-commerce, strengthening security, and improving public service delivery.

And what we're seeing both at Lac 50 and at RIB is we're seeing mineralization where we're stepping out hundreds of meters to kilometers targeting geophysical signatures and hitting uranium mineralization. But not only are we hitting uranium it's the entire system. We're hitting large scale graphitic-sulfidic structures that are localizing mineralization that have tens to hundreds of metres of alteration surrounding them. It's indicative of a very large trend, a very large system. And it's actually unique because when you start to look at this the geologic setting, how it's characterized, it's more analogous probably to a lode gold system than a typical than a typical hydrothermal uranium system that you would see in the Athabasca Basin. And you can understand that we've been building up the thesis for the last couple of years, and every time we get a new set of data, we start to refine and and distill our observations, which then in turn leads to increased predictability within our drill results. And once you get to defining kind of first order mineralized controls it's a really exciting position to be in because then you're building – then you're actually building underlying asset value as opposed to just addressing that first risk, which is discovery risk. That water has to be flushed out every couple years Whistleblowers say that chemical water is being pushed into our streams and waterways and may have extremely limited cleaning requirements depending on state “I'm getting whistleblowers on the inside saying that they're taking all that waste and they're just running it down into the sewers. They're wanting to go to more closed cooling systems, and in those closed cooling systems, you still are gonna be using chemicals. There's no regulations about every 2 years when you have to clean out a cooling closed system, where are you gonna throw all of those chemicals?” “Taking polluted water and running it through system and dumping it into a river and it flows downstream, that will have a natural dilution, would resolve the issue, and it's not. But like every other technology, it's advanced dramatically. Today, we don't use a lot of water in data centers because it's a closed loop system like your car, your radiator. It stays inside a system. Many turbines now don't use water at all, they’re air-cooled. This narrative about data centers destroying the environment is an old story, and it's being used by those that don't wanna see this advance. We just need more capacity. We have to build it more responsibly, and that's exactly what's going on now. So this narrative is mostly a falsehood. And I think I know who's spreading this falsehood by the way. They're not our friends.
