I say that as someone who lives in a region devastated with wildfires over the last 4 years that even put our city on evacuation alert for a MONTH in 2021. Pick from 2021 White Rock Lake fire that was allowed to burn out of control, for months on end.

Incredible scenes in Adelaide CBD tonight. With less than 48 hours since the bill was announced on Monday to pull this together, I was expecting a few hundred to show up. Instead there were well over 2500 and they even had to close down two lanes on North Terrace 💪 Although a counter-protest was organised, there were only 5 that showed up. I guess it IS really hard to protest against a bill that allows termination of pregnancy through all nine months, yet enables live delivery rather than the brutal injection of potassium chloride into the baby's heart in-utero and the delivery of a stillborn baby. This was just the start. It was Day One and we had thousands there. We will get this bill passed by the end of the year and we'll do it with #peoplepower
