Bill Maher guest argues that more people should be using GLP-1. "Every time we find out something about GLP-1, it's a positive... Everyone on this table is gonna be on a GLP-1 within 24 months." GLP-1 is a hormone your body naturally makes that helps control blood sugar, slows...

I’ll never understand the mentality of one who chooses the glp-1 route than genuinely trying to eat less garbage and workout. All this talk about “genetics” is one massive cope. They’ll be here in a few years after a bunch of injuries/deaths asking “how tf could we have known?!”

The key is, micro dosing. Same is true with testosterone and estrogen. Even steroids are safe, effective, and helpful in small doses for a short period.

Maher's guest had to be a GLP-1 salesman. He should've been wearing their t-shirt logos, like race car drivers do.

Also they have found recently there is absolute zero GLP 1 in any of those medications! So who knows what your being sold. After covid if you are not doing a deep dive into whatever medication a doctor is trying to put you on. You really should! Also there is probably a natural!

Miracle drug Miracle drug. How many time have we heard this? The side effects of GLP-1 include Pancreatitis. There are also reports of blindness. Shed a few pounds, but then roll the dice with your life on it. Better to change the diet and exercise with a doctor and nutritionist. The problem is, all the crap they put in the food and a lot of people eat these processed foods. It also has everything to do with the health of your gut. If you don't have the right bacterias it can affect everything from your liver to your thyroid.

As more people realize how cheap you can get GLP-1s for they'll continue to grow. A year's supply is under $200 - if you know where to look.

as a nurse who's family member almost went into shock and died from monjero, Just no. GLP1 drug slow your gut down, they can contribute to an illius or an intestinal blockage. They have a number of side effects and adverse reactions. They are not "all good"

That’s a bit of an overstatement. Not sure how common it is but there is a known side effect of causing significant depression. Blocking the hunger neuropathway for some also blocks the pleasure neuropathway

Too early to tell if there are side effects yet to reveal themselves.

In other news, we have discovered Bill Maher sometimes says things we agree with and sometimes he says things we don’t. Clearly very unique because most people just say things I agree with.

I’ve been on Wegovy and another GLP one sorry forgot the name. Both gave me severe digestive complications constipation, kidney stones. I’m 50 never had kidney stones until I started taking Wegovy. I’ve been off for at least six months and my digestive track is still a little fucked up. So yeah, those drugs are not natural.

It's not just for weight loss as they are finding out. It has removed most of my scarring in my liver. I went from "being next on the list for donors" to a slightly scarred liver. Let's stop with the ignorance, every med has side effects.

What about the ppl with underlying conditions that are dying from GLP-1 bc they're been prescribed them by ignorant uninformed practitioners who are more concerned about bonuses than effectively treating their patients?

Joe Rogan yells "Holy sh*t!" after Harvard professor of genetics David Sinclair says sudden blindness has DOUBLED because of GLP-1 drugs. Then Rogan pulls up the data himself — and what he reads out loud is even worse. SINCLAIR: "Glaucoma and also sudden blindness. It's called NAION, which is now twice as more prevalent because of the GLP-1 drugs." ROGAN: "Really?!" SINCLAIR: "It's not well known. Obviously companies don't want to talk about it. But yes, sudden blindness has doubled, seemingly because of these meds." ROGAN: "Holy shit!" SINCLAIR: "Careful." ROGAN: "Sudden blindness has doubled because of GLP-1s?" SINCLAIR: "Due to NAION, which is like a stroke in your eye, and then your other eye can go. Which is pretty scary. And there's nothing you can do about it. Hopefully our drug does work for those people." ROGAN: "And, obviously correlation does not equal causation, but it seems to be." SINCLAIR: "Yeah, there's a scientist at Harvard. You could look up his work. Joe Rizzo. It looks like it's repeatable across the planet." ROGAN: "Wow, that's terrible. Terrible because there's so many people out there that are just telling everyone they should get on GLP-1s… Like online podcasters saying, 'Everyone should get on GLP-1s… It's going to transform society.' I'm like, 'We just started taking these! The f*ck are you saying?!'" SINCLAIR: "Yeah, it's not risk free. Same with ED drugs." ROGAN: "Here goes. Recent studies suggest that a potential risk — rare link between GLP-1 receptor agonist medications such as Ozempic, Wegovy, blah, blah, blah, and… an eye stroke [that] can cause sudden, painless loss of vision in one eye, while absolute risk remains very low." ROGAN: "Well, very low is like… What does that mean?" SINCLAIR: "One in 10,000 people." ROGAN: "One in 10,000?" SINCLAIR: "Oh no. Total of 10,000." ROGAN: "Oh, total of 10,000 so far? How many people are taking this stuff?" [Rogan continues reading] "The drugs were 68.6 times more likely to develop this [eye stroke] and 8 times more likely to develop… diabetic retinopathy." ROGAN: "Oh, my God. Then… Wow." ROGAN: "Yeah, man. These things are just — they're just rolling out…"
