q. is there a moment that stands out though as as far as like a song coming together that was good for you? 🐰: well, I worked a lot on this song called “hooligan” and that song itself is… I don’t know when I first heard the track, I came up with the flow immediately 🐰: *sings hooligan* 🐰: I just thought of it so I got to work, and the track is so unique, so I might have just lucked into this, but hitman bang and the rest of the members thought it was so fresh and they all loved it! that felt awesome! and I didn’t know if this song would make it but it got picked, and that rocked! 😆😆

Quentin Tarantino on Sergio Leone: "People sometimes think that Leone was the first Italian to make spaghetti westerns. But of course he wasn’t. Sergio Corbucci was doing a spaghetti western in 1964, the same time Leone was doing Fistful of Dollars. But he wasn’t trying to do something different at that time — he was actually trying to be more like the American westerns, and this is reflected in the music, which isn’t operatic at all. It was Leone who put the music to task and turned it to opera. I know there are examples that will be contrary to what I am saying, but it feels as if Leone is the first guy ever to cut picture to music in that way. Before him it just happened by accident where somebody thought it would be cool for a little sequence, but didn’t think they should do it for the rest of the movie. But the way we cut to music now: you pick some rock song and you cut your scene to that song. SoundCloud Stories “Blue Lips” 🦒 blue lips is a song that goes all the way back to 2022, before i debut. most of the songs on this album were made after we debut, but this one has been with me for so long, so always have special place in my heart. when i first wrote it, it came from feelings and thoughs iʼve been holding on to for a while. looking back, i think i was going through one of those moments where i felt a little lonely, sad, but back then, it was completely my own story. but when we reworked it for this album, it naturally involved into a song that reflects all five of us. we shaped it together, and i think thatʼs what gave it the sound and identity it has now. one thing this song taught me is that the more personal a story is, the more people can actually connect with it, you know, deeper. seeing people relate to blue lips made this song even more meaningful to me #MARTIN #마틴
