Okay children. Have a seat. If the US Federal government confiscated 100% of billionaire wealth in the US, they would come up with around $7 trillion dollars. Annual spending in the USA is approximately $7.4 trillion dollars. So if you confiscate 100% of that wealth, you can fund the US government for about 1 year. So - who do you tax in year 2? There’s no more billionaires. So where do you get the tax revenue?
