it’s not a biohazard zone, never was. If it was, they would have tested to make sure they knew what they were dealing with. Would’ve contained things properly. This was government overreach because of policies that should have been trashed 40 years ago. The government can’t be wrong. CFIA does not answer to them or us and frankly couldn’t care about the ostrich farm or the people involved. From an optics and human decency POV I think the owners should gave been allowed to participate and the ostriches should have only been brought into the pen 1 or 2 at a time to be killed and said bio hazard (corpse) should be packed for removal between kills. If this cull really had to be done, the way it was handled was an absolute clown show
