Actually, I just updated my custom nodes for See Through (a Live2d style Layer Decomposition for Anime Characters) to support ComfyUI native layer editor I just implemented.

Trellis.2 and Pixal3D are now native in ComfyUI core No custom nodes. No CUDA extensions. No PyTorch downgrade. No non-commercial license traps. Plus a rebuilt 3D pipeline: Load/Preview/Save 3D nodes, mesh post-processing, and PBR texturing that bakes normals + AO for a full material set. Runs on consumer hardware. Free to use commercially. Click the link below to run the workflow and learn more ⬇️

Mattes and Utilities Demo: VFX artist Doug Hogan breaks down a ComfyUI workflow that generates production-ready utility passes directly from your footage. No manual rotoscoping. No guesswork. What's inside: → Prompt-based background removal (RMBG) for fast, clean shots → SAM3 text-prompt segmentation for moving subjects → SAM3 point-based editor for precise matte control → Face segmentation for beauty and skin work in comp → Stable depth and normals passes for relighting and CG integration → App Mode - a simplified UI that hides the node graph entirely Everything ties back to your source plate's native resolution and frame rate automatically via get/set nodes. This is the kind of workflow that used to take a team. Now it runs in ComfyUI. Click the link below for the workflow 👇

Magnific Plugin is now on ComfyUI → Generate image and video as native nodes → Upscale, relight, remove background → Stock and your own library, straight into the graph → Your graph stays local. Only the Magnific steps leave your machine Available for Mac and Windows now

Tutorial: ComfyUI Mattes & Utility Nodes Tutorial for VFX In this video, VFX artist Doug Hogan walks through a ComfyUI workflow for generating production-ready utility passes directly from your footage. No manual rotoscoping required. What's covered: → Prompt-based background removal (RMBG) for fast, simple shots → SAM3 text-prompt segmentation for moving subjects and medium-complexity scenes → SAM3 point-based editor for precise matte control (think: crypto mattes for live action) → Face segmentation for beauty and skin work in comp → Stable depth and normals passes for relighting and CG integration → App Mode — a simplified UI for running all options without touching the node graph All outputs are tied to your source plate's native resolution and frame rate via get/set nodes, so the workflow adapts automatically.

Comfy Desktop is here - one app for every Comfy. We rebuilt the desktop experience from the ground up. Your existing workflows, custom nodes, models, and settings carry over untouched. Same name, completely new app. What's new: → Multiple ComfyUI instances — different custom nodes, different versions, all managed in one place → Automatic snapshots before every update and custom node change, with one-click rollback if something breaks → Day-0 ComfyUI releases — the moment a new version or nightly drops, you can update immediately If you're on our older desktop app, you'll see an update prompt automatically.
