Yeah, was interesting. Steady state seemingly not because of anything it specifically was doing, but due to the *incredibly* consistent steady-state stream of mergers. Basically just ate the same exact merger for 3+ hours straight. Really unique event!

What do you see in this video? Probably the largest tornado of 2025 that I saw. What don't you see? My jaw hitting the floor when I popped out of the rain/hail and saw this monster tornado. A cyclic supercell produced a family of tornadoes from Hyannis to Valentine, Nebraska in late April 2025. Tornadoes ripped through the desolate Nebraska Sandhills for hours and late into the evening. Crazy night! Hardest part of the chase was trying to grind it east to Iowa for the next days chase.

One of the best places to chase tornadoes on earth is the Texas and Oklahoma panhandle’s. On April 15, 2016 I thought this supercell was going to plant a tornado right on top of this Tractor Supply in Dalhart, TX. Thankfully the storm took awhile longer to wind up, before producing multiple twisters near the town of Eva, OK in the panhandle. The panhandle’s in peak severe season on a severe weather day is heaven on earth for a storm chaser.

Team Dominator chased 4-5 tornadoes on a LONG-TRACK supercell from the Ozark Mountains of Missouri through Kentucky. We also saw the Sikeston, MO #tornado but I was driving the Dominator 3. These are the Kentucky tornadoes. This supercell sadly went on to cause significant damage in Somerset and London, Kentucky including fatalities. 14 fatalities have been reported across southern Kentucky from last night’s #tornado outbreak
