Team Dominator chased 4-5 tornadoes on a LONG-TRACK supercell from the Ozark Mountains of Missouri through Kentucky. We also saw the Sikeston, MO #tornado but I was driving the Dominator 3. On sky news here in the UK, 21 fatalities so far , shocking that they didn't upgrade the Somerset tornado to PDS quicker.

What is the official distance of the MO/KY supercell that produced several destructive tornadoes? Last night I saw it surpassed 500 miles.

We had to dig this one out of the northern supercell of a pair, just as this supercell was getting nudged by a trailer! Meanwhile, a supercell dropped at least a few large dangerous tornadoes near Cleo Springs and Jet, Oklahoma #stormchasing #dangerous LocalMan Weather

Team Dominator let it rip in #tornado intercept mode with two tornadoes chased from close range in Iowa! We could have easily intercepted the second tornado for science, but the traffic was too bad. It’s like Mario Kart out there in #Tornado Alley these days

UPDATE: The National Weather Service of Jackson, MS has determined that what was previously thought to be two EF-3 tornadoes in Southern Mississippi were actually one long track tornado, on the ground for nearly 70 miles on Wednesday. The max width of the tornado was also found to be over a MILE wide. The good news: there were no fatalities from this tornado. #MSwx

This incident occurred in Lexington, Kentucky, during a tornado warning, with reports of winds gusting up to 70, possibly 100 mph. Significant damage has been reported across the Kentucky area, as straight-line winds, possibly embedded with a tornado, have knocked down numerous trees, power lines, and even flipped some cars while damaging homes and businesses. Multiple people are without power, and more dangerous weather is expected to pass through later today, with an increased threat of strong to intense, long-track tornadoes across much of the Ohio River and Tennessee Valley regions.

25 years ago, today, on May 3, 1999, arguably the strongest #tornado in History tore through communities like Bridge Creek, Moore, and south OKC. Here was our chase of this infamous #tornado as 18 year old freshman at OU. Still to this day, this is the most powerful and structurally textbook tornadic supercell I have ever chased. It was a lesson in tornado / supercell structure and in the dark side these tornadoes leave behind that is the damage and loss of life/property. Hopefully, we never see an event like this ever again

BANG! See the pancake stack? This was the most beautiful pancake stacked supercell i have ever chased. Of course this mothership was hovering over Saskatchewan last night, the Land of the Living Skies. This supercell had a #tornado warning issued and produced a few funnel clouds. We expect greater tornado potential today near a similar area. We will be activated live #stormchasing mode by 4 pm #Dominator
