Here's why <1M people are using Bitchat ahead of the 2026 Uganda elections 👇 Bitchat allows people to communicate without relying on internet or mobile connectivity. Why does that matter? Because the Ugandan government has previously cut off internet access during the past two elections, limiting the spread of accurate information and communication during voting.
