We are likely to Vote on CAB 3 today at parliament. It’s unfortunate we have come this far with an unnecessary bill. No ordinary person I have met genuinely wants the bill. Like I submitted to parliament last night, CAB 3 was simply fathered by the executive, and is being midwifed in MT Hampden by parliament, away from the real people who are the stakeholders and stockholders of the nation. I will vote NO on all its 22 clauses.

This whole “cancel culture goes both ways” thing remains bullshit. People are not getting cancelled for “criticizing Israel”—that is a disingenuous lie. It’s not the same thing that was happening when we were all getting cancelled for saying true things or for speaking to people who were saying true things, vs someone losing their job for saying “kill the jews.” Being punished for openly supporting terrorist groups, AS AN IMMIGRANT, on a visa, likewise, is not the same thing as getting cancelled for saying that women don’t have penises.
