The anti-Bengal BJP does not know how to respect democracy. Even today, the Opposition has not been allotted a room in the Assembly. Although Leader of the Opposition Shri Sovandeb Chattopadhyay and Shri Kunal Ghosh went to the Assembly to meet the Speaker, the Speaker refused to meet them. The people of Bengal will give a fitting reply to this uncivilized behavior of the anti-Bengal BJP. We will not tolerate the extreme indecency of the BJP government.

ECI has issued a point-by-point rebuttal to the TMC delegation. From warning West Bengal Police against pressure on BLOs, to reminding AITC that only Indian citizens can vote as per Article 326, the Commission has made its stance clear. ECI has also questioned why the State Government has still not released the enhanced honorarium for BLOs and EROs. The Commission has clarified that electoral rolls and elections in India follow full transparency and constitutional procedure. ECI even confronted TMC for opposing polling stations in high-rise buildings designed for voter convenience.
