Our grandmothers are the link to both our past and our future. They are the bridge that spans all our past experiences and yet provide a road map to a future full of hope and promise. You often see them in the kitchen because they provide the sustenance to our lives and dreams.

I still miss my Nana, it's been over 30 years since her death. She never washed any greens in a bathtub, either.
