I don’t like black clover, mostly because of its plot twists. Half of them feel like they exist just for shock value, and the other half feel very generic. Not even mentioning the power creep caused by demon anti magic. It’s fine if you like it, but I don’t. Both are valid.

I think the hate comes from the early anime episodes, they were kinda rough and lacked that shine most modern anime have. but it got so much better so fast and most ppl dropped it by then.
