I broke my arm one time and went to a black doctor. He wanted to reset it but I said no. Then he said he wanted to at least bandage it but I don’t like bandages. Then the asshole tried to give me painkillers but they make me poop alot. He finally tried to give me aspirin but I couldn’t open the bottle. The most racist shit I’ve ever seen. Luckily a white doctor gave me laxatives.

The woman’s example of her broken leg and pain killers and allegedly people “not supporting black women” Does she have any evidence that the doctors in that situation took the actions they did on the basis that she is “black”? It’s fine to refuse Opium, But did they not give you a muscle relaxer in the basis that she is black? No…. So she is the one racialising things into “they didn’t help be because I am black” And FYI, Muscle Relaxers would not be prescribed for physical pain for a bone injury…. So would have done nothing to ease the pain from her broken leg 🤦‍♂️

I have celiacs & b/c the pharmacy at the hospital I delivered didn't want to look up the starch in meds they wouldn't give me any pain meds after I gave birth. My husband had to bring me ibuprofen from home I'm as white as they come. Dr.s not caring about pain is across the board.

Wait, she wanted a muscle relaxer, that would do nothing for broken bones, over morphine?! Wtf? I was diagnosed with bone cancer. It eats holes in your bones. Im given percent by day, and morphine at night. Morphine makes me drowsy so I can only have it at night. That lady and the black Dr are STUPID.

@TheOfficerTatum Doctor didn't give her Tylenol or Advil because she told them she couldn't take it, they then offer her opiates and she says she has problems with that. How TF is that racist?! I've had disc fusion and let me tell you, muscle relaxers would be useless on a compound fracture.

@TheOfficerTatum When you are allergic, like I am, you do have to suffer. Same with me, after back surgery, broken foot, etc. But I am allergic to all pain medication except motrin. Then...then...another doctor said, you can take Toradol....10 years later!!! And I'm white. It's incompetence.

I can’t think of a single blood thinner you take where you can’t take Tylenol. It’s the recommended pain reliever for people on warfarin, pradaxa, Xarelto, eliquis and others. Now, things certainly change if you’re using incredibly high doses over a long period of time, but otherwise this is BS.
