if ALL users in blender donate at least 5$ dollar a month, blender would be improving like sky rocket! c'mon guys.. donate at least 5$ /month.... is nothing..

Definitely agree with you, its generally overlooked but I agree, giving them 5-20 bucks is not a big ask when you consider how much a take out coffee is.

Blender is free to use, not free to develop. This is what I've been preaching for the last two years. You want Blender to get better faster. Donate to support the development. It's that easy and not that expensive as buying commercial software.

The Blender Foundation could crowdfund some new features demanded by the public, for now, big companies should fund it regularly, I don't see another source of income, Blender is not used in production, doesn't have those features, maybe a new idea will arise in the future.

What they need is big players like ILM who have the money and resources to make Blender better to contribute and share the tech but that is very unlikely to happen. UBIsoft does though.
